Range Snap - great product and created by forum member!
CouesWhitetail replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Other Hunting Gear
I am not sure about which stores might carry it...you would have to call around. If you live in AZ and you order it today from me, you will likely have it tomorrow. But you have to order it soon so I can mail it today. Regular mail within AZ usually arrives overnight. that's funny you posted this... I ordered mine about 10 am. can't wait to check it out! does it matter that my bino harness is NOT elastic? I have the lock down bino harness and was wondering if it was hinder-some to not have the stretch. I hope it works. James You should get yours soon James! Thanks for the order. I don't think it will be a problem to not have a stretch bino harness. You can adjust the range finder up or down until you find the "sweet spot" where it is perfect for you. -
Congratulations again Brian and thanks for sharing that awesome video!

I just open the bags so the moisture can get out. And I try to make sure the bags are never in the sun, that seems to be the worst for causing moisture build up.

I have been using a Big Agnes Seedhouse SL2 for probably about 10-15 years. It has served me well. I did have a pole break this year and they replaced it free of charge even though they told me it would cost $5 per segment. Only one segment was broke, but they sent me replacements for the whole entire main poles...sweet! Since I bought the tent years ago, they have much improved the poles, so now I have the new material which I don't think will break. https://www.bigagnes.com/Products/Detail/Tent/SeedhouseSL2

Thanks for the order! I think you will love it! If you don't, as with all products in the CW store, you can always return it for a refund. -
Great looking bear! I think you will enjoy that trophy more than the solid black one you didn't get!

Can't wait to see pics from your backpack trip! -
Those WMAT turkey hunts are supposed to be unbelievable with tons of gobbling action!

Western Hunter and Elk Hunter are great magazines, check those out too: http://westernhunter.net/

I agree with everyone else, it should affect things very little. If there is some rain shortly after the burn, then there will likely be a quick green up and deer and elk like to take advantage of that fresh growth.

A couple recent things we ate that are made from prickly pear cactus. First one has roasted and fresh cut prickly pear pads along with grilled pork, hominy and some other veggies. I didn't actually make this soup, it was made by some friends during a prickly pear harvesting class at Boyce Thompson Arboretum. And another snack was this prickly pear smoothie, which was YUMMY! fresh prickly pear juice, yogurt, pineapple juice and overipe bananas. Blended together with ice in a blender. Tastey and fairly healthy, although it can be high in sugar. Good thing prickly pear juice is supposed to be good for moderating blood sugar!

LOL! Loved that! My husband and I should have talked each out of extra steak last night! At least it was lean sirloin and not my favorite fat laden ribeye!!

I think I could live on Salmon, spinach and avocado....all my favorites! Safeway now carries frozen alaskan sockeye salmon which I always have on hand in our freezer for quick dinner and safeway also carries Demings canned sockeye salmon that I use to make a salmon pasta salad with lots of veggies in it -- I make it in advance and take it camping with us. I use Brianna's Poppyseed dressing for that salmon pasta salad and it's wonderful! I think you could make salmon burgers with the canned salmon but haven't done it yet. It has bones in the can, but they are soft and easy to eat.
