    Truly Unbelievable!

Isn't it illegal to tag a deer you didn't shoot? Amanda

My buck won a biannual Pope & Young Award

I probably would not do it. You already have it in the books, the award is just extra right? Do you really want the award? I think knowing it was considered for the award would be enough. I think it would be different if they did all the crating and expenses and had tracking. Seems to me you are taking more risk than you are getting rewarded for. But it's a tough decision. Amanda

I would guess coatimundi. They look like bear tracks only much smaller. I am surprised there are no nail marks showing though. Amanda

    Ground Blinds

I have heard great things about hunting coues deer out of double bull blinds. I haven't used them but apparently they conceal scent well. Anyone have one of their newest ones and have any info to share on it? Amanda

GIANT 150+ buck killed in Sonora

Josh, If you get permission to post the pics, do it in another thread. This thread has just gotten all confused. I wasn't referring to a buck killed by Derek's client. I was talking about a different one, which the outfitter has requested that it not be posted. I think the thread that contained the buck from Derek's client got pulled because of all the personal attacks that it started. Amanda

    ErnestoC Mexico Success

Jamaro, I think Ernesto did a self-guided hunt. He has been having trouble logging on, or I am sure he would come explain it. But anyway, it was just him and his brother I think. Congrats on your fine buck Ernesto! I like the long eyeguards!! Amanda

    Be Careful out there

How unfortunate, a really avoidable accident. That's one of the reasons I don't hunt with a round in the chamber of my .270. Amanda
