Looks like coyote to me......I think the mud has sort of smeared out the toes and pads so that it looks more oval like a bobcat track than normal. but yeah, nails are a give away.

I am loving this thread! Great finds on the sheds and gorgeous bobcat mount! And love the wall of shame too!

You guys are doing awesome!! congrats to all of you on your much improved fitness! I plan to be out hunting Monday and I have been gone the last several mondays, so I am checking in early. Down 15 pounds as of yesterday, so that's good progress. Been hiking around with my hunting pack full of my gear and adding heavy rocks on the way uphill. Feeling good, eating healthy and amped up for my Coues hunt...leaving tomorrow. planning to do a backpack hunt, though that might change. Will be nice packing less weight around in the hills

OPENING MORNING NIGHTMARE
CouesWhitetail replied to ProSlayer's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
If he needs to borrow a .270, he can use mine. I am going to be using my hunting buddies gun on my hunt tomorrow....but I can run my .270 over to him today if he would like it. have him call me 928-200-0544. I also have extra range finder, GPS, tripod, binos, etc. So let me know if I can help him out.- 23 replies

OPENING MORNING NIGHTMARE
CouesWhitetail replied to ProSlayer's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Oh no! I am so sorry to hear about this! This is terrible. I am always tempted to load the night before and have opted not to because I worry about getting stuff stolen. I actually accidentally left my backpack in my jeep last night after a hike with all my optics and was scared that I was going to find it gone this morning, but I was luck. I am so sorry your father got hit by such creeps. Your dad is such a nice man and doesn't deserve this! (not that anyone does) -

You can download the pic and zoom in if you are having trouble seeing the live deer. -
Miller's does excellent work and they are genuinely great guys too! They are a longtime sponsor of CouesWhitetail.com and they also donate a lot of meat to the youth camps held throughout the state. And they donated a bunch of meat to the women's javelina camp last year. This is a great business run by great people who are avid hunters! here is a link to their website: http://www.southwesternprocessing.com/

Thank you all so much for the wonderful birthday wishes! Sorry to be so late replying but I was gone for the week and just got logged in now. I had a great trip up to Mt Graham to enjoy the fall colors with my husband for my bday! Stayed in a cabin and had a nice warm fire in the crisp evening. Perfect weather and fall colors were at peak! It was such a wonderful trip. here are a few pics:

Mt Graham - road much improved - flowers awesome-go now!
CouesWhitetail posted a topic in Non-hunting trip reports
If you are looking for a great camping trip for your family, you might want to head up Mt Graham now! Over the last few weeks, they have significantly smoothed out the dirt portion of the road. It's nice! The temperatures are awesome up there (low 40s in the morning and 60-70s during the day)! And as an added bonus, the flowers are stunning along the roadside and in the forest. here are some pics:
