    OPENING MORNING NIGHTMARE

If he needs to borrow a .270, he can use mine. I am going to be using my hunting buddies gun on my hunt tomorrow....but I can run my .270 over to him today if he would like it. have him call me 928-200-0544. I also have extra range finder, GPS, tripod, binos, etc. So let me know if I can help him out.

    OPENING MORNING NIGHTMARE

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear about this! This is terrible. I am always tempted to load the night before and have opted not to because I worry about getting stuff stolen. I actually accidentally left my backpack in my jeep last night after a hike with all my optics and was scared that I was going to find it gone this morning, but I was luck. I am so sorry your father got hit by such creeps. Your dad is such a nice man and doesn't deserve this! (not that anyone does)

    Thank You Millers Meat Processing

Miller's does excellent work and they are genuinely great guys too! They are a longtime sponsor of CouesWhitetail.com and they also donate a lot of meat to the youth camps held throughout the state. And they donated a bunch of meat to the women's javelina camp last year. This is a great business run by great people who are avid hunters! here is a link to their website: http://www.southwesternprocessing.com/

    Happy BirthDay Amanda!!!

Thank you all so much for the wonderful birthday wishes! Sorry to be so late replying but I was gone for the week and just got logged in now. I had a great trip up to Mt Graham to enjoy the fall colors with my husband for my bday! Stayed in a cabin and had a nice warm fire in the crisp evening. Perfect weather and fall colors were at peak! It was such a wonderful trip. here are a few pics:
  19. If you are looking for a great camping trip for your family, you might want to head up Mt Graham now! Over the last few weeks, they have significantly smoothed out the dirt portion of the road. It's nice! The temperatures are awesome up there (low 40s in the morning and 60-70s during the day)! And as an added bonus, the flowers are stunning along the roadside and in the forest. here are some pics:
  20. 2013 CouesWhitetail.com Wildlife Conservation Challenge So I thought we would try something new this year since it's the 10 year anniversary of CouesWhitetail.com. I wanted to do a special contest and I want help motivate people to do more for wildlife. So the idea is if you do one of the activities listed below and post about it in the correct subforum (see rules below) then you get an automatic free entry in the contest. And, as a bonus, if you wear a CouesWhitetail.com tshirt or hat at the event and have pics to prove it, then you get an additional 3 entries. For each event you attend and post about, you can get more entries. The more entries you have, the more likely you are to win a great prize. I will run the contest for the 12 month period (Jan to Dec 2013) which should give everyone time to find several events to attend. If you did any of the following types of events this year, prior to me announcing this, then it can still count if you post about it. At the end of the year, I will randomly select winners from a list of all entries. Multiple entries are possible using the framework below. We have some GREAT prizes lined up so far!
