New huntin' partner

Amazing! Congratulations and thanks for sharing the pics! Cute little guy! Amanda -
Maybe donate some of the packs to the AZ Hunt of a Lifetime organization? They might find a use for them. Or donate some to groups like the ADA and AES to give out at their youth hunter camps? Amanda

Sorry I forgot to update the menu to include a link to it, but Doug has posted the link. Thanks Doug! Amanda

How to keep eyepiece covers on Swarv 15x56s?
CouesWhitetail replied to Billinsd's topic in Optics and tripods
I don't use them! I just put the binos in a case that protects them when I am not using them. Amanda -
Need a comfortable seat pad or a glassing chair with back support? Check out the new Jim White products in the store. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/bookstore/gl...air_and_pad.htm Jim was showing his new glassing chair at the recent ADA hunter clinic. I got a chance to sit in it and I can say it's really comfortable! I will be testing it out in the field and will post more of a review when I get a chance. If you have used chairs like this in the past and had the rods break through the canvas, you will be pleased to know that Jim White has made these so that the rods have rubber caps on them and they won't wear through like other chairs. I understand that frustration, it happened to me a year or so ago and it took me awhile to figure it out. Glad it's working for you know. Amanda

ADA Hunter Ed Weekend **PICS**
CouesWhitetail replied to stanley's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Thanks for the report Stan, looks like the kids had a great weekend and got some excellent instruction! Amanda -
Great! I look forward to the review. If your gun is narrower than the rest, you might put something in there to wedge it better (maybe a tshirt or bandana?). Or you might be able to customize it with some foam or something. If you end up not liking it, you can always return it for a refund. Amanda

How about the one Jim White makes and that I sell on this site....it's called Jimmys rest and is a very simple item that threads onto your tripod head. Look at the bottom of this page: http://www.coueswhitetail.com/bookstore/adaptors.htm Amanda

Congratulations to your boy. Nice photo! And just a trivia fact for you, gray fox are one of the only canids that can climb trees, so it's even more appropriate that you had it up on a branch for the photo. Amanda

7mm, Thanks for posting the info on your hunt and the bull. And thanks for your understanding on how it got posted. Congratulations on a great bull!! And once again, please folks, please don't post photos that you don't have permission from the hunter to post. I know people don't mean any harm, but it can get out of hand quickly and if the hunter isn't as understanding as 7mm, it can get real ugly. Glad you had a great hunt Chase! Amanda

Great bull Josh, I am really happy for you! Gonna give us anymore of the story? Amanda

here is what Pops posted in another thread about Wrong Way: I just returned from camp where Jim (Coosefan), his brother Matt and Shortpants are and I was wanting to give you guy's an update on thier hunt. Matt has been scouting all summer long and had some great bulls figured out but 2 day's before season a Bull that he has been after for 3 or 4 years showed up for the first time this year and he and his hunter have gotten close but with 18 to 20 cows it's hard but they are still trying. Another bull that they had seen in August a few times but haven't seen at all in September showed up 1 1/2 day's before the season and Jim decided he and his hunter would go for him. Well when Jim gets back he will tell you guys about it but he did a fantastic job yesterday of getting his hunter in close enough and even with 20 plus cows the hunter was able to arrow the bull. It was just before dark and you know how good Jim's pictures usually are but they take a long time for him to get everything just the way he wants them and it was 11:30 last night before he got back to camp. After we got it hung up, Jim and Shortpants scored the bull and I know it doesn't count for anything but they scored it at 412. The hunter is from Tucson and he is taking it to his taxi there. The Bull had been named Wrong Way in August by Matt and his friend but now it is the Roach bull for the hunter. Mr. Roach was great to have in camp and a good hunter to boot. Jim

Yes, Coues7 is correct. When you view a topic, look for the options button in the upper right. Click on it and it will open a drop down menu. Select Standard rather than outline and it should work fine. Amanda

The ADA, AGFD and Soda Springs Ranch (near Rimrock/Camp Verde) are sponsoring a Youth Hunter Education camp on Sept. 8 and 9. The camp is free for participants. The ranch is providing some great facilities for the class. They have a shooting range there and classrooms. AGFD instructors provide the training. Space is limited. Call Larry Kindred for more information - (602) 885-7701

Thanks for posting that Bill. Scary stuff. Where'd you get the article? Amanda -
Congrats on a fine looking buck! At least that buck got to breed on his last day! Amanda

Gorgeous antelope!!! Glad you had a great hunt! Amanda

What wore out on those Danners? I love the danner pronghorns I have and use them all the time in rough country. They have held up great for me. Perhaps you can get a refund on them? Check the warranty? If you have the original receipt showing the date you bought them and send them the pair back, they may just send you a brand new pair of boots. Amanda
