GH, I assume you are asking about using the lens pen..... I have used the cleaning pad for years with no problem. I blow on the lens to remove what I can and then brush them several times and blow again. It worries me also, but I haven't had any issue and I have my binos out in the dust all the time. Amanda

I don't really use a cleaner of any kind. Just a lens pen and a little moist air from my breath. If you got something really oily on the lens, perhaps any kind of eyeglass cleaner or small amount of dish soap would work. Just make sure you are wiping it with a cloth that won't scratch the lens. This shows the rework of the front logo the graphic artist did. Not sure if I like it or not. I think it won't come out as dark on the shirt as it looks here. It was the same with Clay's buck for those short sleeve shirts I got. I am expecting a shipment of Scoutguard 550s this week. These things are very small, been getting great reviews, and are 5 MP cams with infrared (no flash to spook game or alert people). So if you are interested in this cam, wait a bit and buy it from me and help the website a little. These look like great cameras to me. They will be about $200 and then like youngbuck said you can get a custom lockbox for them. I don't have them, but there is a guy on ebay that has them. Look slick (see link below) These cameras are great as security camers too, maybe you have a boat out back or an ATV trailer or your home in general that you want to monitor. These can be hidden in a bird house or something small like that to be surveillance (sp?) for your home.
