Congratulations Brian!! Guess you will just have to find some coues hunters to help out this year instead of getting your own! Amanda

I think the problem is the lack of a giant COUESWHITETAIL.COM sticker on that tank!! Amanda

Matthewp45 scores a big San Carlos buck!
CouesWhitetail posted a topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Congratulations to Matthew (aka Matthewp45) on his fine San Carlos buck he shot tonight just at last light. I have been fortunate enough to be out there with him and his guides to film the hunt and we made 4 stalks today on 4 different bucks. Tonight it finally all came together with Matthew making about a 300 yard shot on this fine buck. I won't post much of the story since it's really his story to tell and I need to get to bed so I can get out there early again in the morning! But he asked me to come post pics for you all. I rough scored the buck, but I won't tell you until you get a chance to guess the score. So feel free to post what you think he might score. What a great day it was today! Gorgeous weather, amazing country, lots of rutting deer and the day was capped off with a great shot made by Matthew on this excellent buck. Amanda Matthew as he first got to handle the buck: Tribal guides Randy Hopkins and Davis Dude did an outstanding job on the hunt and here they are in the pics: Randy and Davis each packed out half the deer on pack frames. here is Randy with his half: and me with Matt: -

Very nice Doug!! Great pics. I like the one with the moon and the two planets. I was driving home one night and thought, wow that would make a neat photo. Glad someone got it! Amanda -
Congratulations to you both!! Hope you get a buck too! Amanda

Win a Covert II Trail Camera!!
CouesWhitetail replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Contests and Giveaways!
Since here at CW.com we don't have fancy machinery to do the counting, we don't get confused by "hanging chads"! One of the great benefits of being low tech! I didn't even get confused counting the extra peices of grass and tiny leaves that occasionally showed up in there. Amanda -
Keep at it....I hope you find him. Most people wouldn't be comfortable with a 95 yard shot, but obviously you felt well prepared. I have a friend who killed an elk with a 99 yard shot. Hard for me to imagine since I am only comfortable out to 40 yards, but then I don't shoot a ton either. I am sure you are sick to death not finding that buck, so I truly hope you find him tomorrow. Good luck! Amanda

Havalon Piranta Edge Hunting Knife Review
CouesWhitetail replied to Ron G.'s topic in Other Hunting Gear
I watched that knife in action on Matthewp45's hunt. It's very impressive. It scares me to death though. I am afraid that I will hurt myself just putting those blades on and off!! Since outdoorsman's is a sponsor here, I will leave up that commercial link. Thanks for the review! Amanda -
Ok, I sent you a test PM with a link to an image in it and you replied you were able to see it. So apparently it works fine to insert an image into a PM. Essentially it's done the same as for a post except that, as you mentioned, there is no browsing for attachments to upload. Instead, images must already be online somewhere (like photobucket) and you can insert the link as you would in a regular post. Use the little button above the text box that is two over to the right from the smiley face. The button looks like a sunset photo in a frame (if you use your imagination). Click on it and a text box will pop up where you can insert the complete URL to the image. If the text box doesn't pop up it's probably because your browser is set to block scripts. You have to allow scripts to run to make it work. That should work for you. Let me know if you have anymore questions. Amanda

Most likely if you are getting some kind of message about the link not being allowed by the administrator it is probably just an error in the way the link is posted. I got the same error recently while trying to post a photo in a thread, but it really had to do with having the URL codes in the wrong place. Anyway, I haven't ever tried posting a photo in a PM, so I will have to test it out and see if I can figure it out. I will let you know. Amanda

FYI - I will have the NEW Alaska Guide Creations Bino Pouch for sale here on CouesWhitetail.com sometime in the next week or so. Jaret, the guy who makes them, is sending me some as soon as he gets both sizes in stock. He has one made for 15x and one for 10x binos. They will have all the obvious modifications that many of us suggested to Jaret (ie, no liner, quiet zipper pulls, larger size, etc). So this will be a great product for those who want a little more protection for their binos. Amanda

I think that thing may exceed the weight limit for needing a sticker! Amanda
