How many of you get The Hunting Report? It's a great publication (hardcopy and online) for info on hunts all over the world. The March issue which just got mailed out will have a writeup by Mel Toponce about his hunt with one of our sponsors, Mexafari. Mel also made sure to include info about CouesWhitetail.com so this site will get some nice PR with some serious hunters. If you already subscribe to The Hunting Report, check out the March issue when you get it. http://www.huntingreport.com/ Amanda

DOUG & AMANDA!???!!!???!!!??
CouesWhitetail replied to Coues 'n' Sheep's topic in Contests and Giveaways!
Doesn't anyone have any patience around here!! Sorry for the delay, but we will get them up as soon as we can. Amanda -
Nice little deer you found there Clay! Hope your big boy shows up sometime.... Amanda

Wow, that's terrible news about the jaguar. Isn't that what many environmentalist feared would happen if a jaguar was captured and collared? Seems unlinkely that it's death wasn't related to the stress and drugs used during it's capture and handling. I sure hope it wasn't though. Amanda

Showed the videos to my husband and he enjoyed them also!! Great stuff. Your "faithful but useless shed hunting buddy" is very crafty. You might try moving the cam so it can catch her coming into the aisle by the counters. Since you aren't catching her jump up, it's either because she does it in less than 1.2 secs (the camera trigger time) or she just isn't in the camera field of view when she jumps up. The more you angle the camera so you catch her approach, the more likely to get her jumping up on the counter. Amanda

WoW!! Congratulations on your elephants! I figured you would get one, but had no idea you would get three!! Wow, that's a lot of elephant hunting crammed into one trip! Did you take any video? If so, post it up please. That Kudu is unreal!! I have always wanted one of those!! Thanks for all the pics Scottyboy and glad you had such a gret trip! I bet you heard all kinds of neat animal sounds while back at camp in your tent! Did you hear anything interesting? I was thinking the other day about an Africa trip and thinking that I would love to do it in a tent so I could feel, hear and smell more of what it's like to be in Africa. Amanda

I will be working at the ADA booth all weekend and will have some space to sell some CW.com gear. I will have tshirts and hats and those new trail cameras and DVDs and such, so stop by if you are there at the show. If you have some deer you want scored, bring them by and I will do what I can to get them done. So stop by and introduce yourself if you are at the show. The ADA will have our deer display up also. Bino Pouch available now!
CouesWhitetail replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in CouesWhitetail.com Store
People seemed very impressed with the pouch. I sold several of them. People liked the fabric with mountain shadow pattern, the extra zippered pockets and the fact that the straps aren't elastic (so they don't bounce around on you). The price is a hard for some people, but he is having them made in the USA and so his costs doubled compared to making them overseas. Amanda -
Love the expression on those young faces!! Amanda

Visit their website: http://www.scatrwd.com/ There might be some 1st spring season 09 tags left since they are having it really early and most people want the 2nd season. There may be some 2nd season 2010 tags still available. Amanda

Wow, what a great weekend at the ISE show!! I had so much fun talking with so many members of this forum, and scoring several deer for them. Thanks to all who generously donated money to the website at the show and those who bought shirts, videos, bino packs, trail cams, etc. Sales were good and it really helps this website! I gave out several CouesWhitetail.com stickers at the show also. Here are a few pics from the event: Man, did I love seeing the little kids wearing their newly purchased CouesWhitetail.com shirts!!! Julius Hostetler's son (Julius): Mjmhunter's son (Hunter) Nathan and his buck (and the orange shirt!!) Gino bought a new safe (and showed remarkable restraint in picking the size....he wanted the bigger one!). He asked me to put a CouesWhitetail.com sticker on the safe immediately after he paid for it! Thanks Gino...looks great! here is a pic of it: The Arizona Deer Association booth was next to Eastman's trophy deer display. Roger Selner ran that booth and has mostly mulies in his display, but also a very nice sitka (first on left): And Roger bought a 118 coues from AGFD that had been confiscated from a hunter who took the buck in Mexico. On the way to the show, I stopped and did a photo shoot with the new Jason Lewis bronze. Here is a pic of it. I had the bronze at the show for all to see. I also had that little bronze shed Jason made for me and people really enjoyed that as well. and here is Mark Nixon's buck that I scored for him at the show. he is going to graciously allow us to use this buck for a guess the score contest. It's a monster and very unique!! Thanks to all who took the time to stop by and say hi! I enjoyed meeting everyone and talking Coues! And thanks again for all the support. The generosity of the members amazes me! THANK YOU! Amanda

Great buck Nathan, no matter what he scores! Buck of a lifetime and thanks for letting me score him. You are a pleasure to be around and it's just great to see a hunter who truly appreciates a Coues like this one. Amanda

Wow, cool pics Jim! Sounds like a blast!! Believe it or not, carp are good to eat and you might try taking them home next time. We have cooked them on the grill and then just separate bones and meat and you have a pile of flesh that works great for fish cakes. I know most people in the US don't consider eating them, but in Europe they are considered sport fish and great eating. carp recipes: http://www.activeangler.com/recipes/carp.shtml http://www.saveur.com/article/Food/Baked-C...our-Cream-Sauce

Four more pairs of ISE tix to give away!
CouesWhitetail replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Contests and Giveaways!
Muskrat just sent me a confirmation email, so you guys should be all set. Sorry to those that wanted tix but didn't get them....... Amanda -
Yes, Chef. I will have some cams for people to buy and handle. I plan to run a show special price on the cams too. So you might save a few bucks buying at the show.... Unfortunately, the larger shipment didn't show today, so I might not have a bunch to sell at the show. But if you pay for one at the show, I will give you the special price and ship it later. Amanda

Four more pairs of ISE tix to give away!
CouesWhitetail replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Contests and Giveaways!
I submitted the names of the first four (David, Craig, Dan and Matt) that responded. I haven't heard back from muskrat though, hopefully he got them and will pass them on to ISE. Your names should be at Will Call. Since I haven't heard back from him yet, and the show starts tomorrow, I suggest you ask for tickets at Will Call, but be prepared with money in case he hasn't been able to pass them on yet. I don't think that will happen, but better to be prepared..... Amanda -
Sunrise and Swan area? I have a friend that lives out there, I will have to suggest we go eat there so we can say hi. Amanda
