took a drive up to Salt River canyon to see if it had much snow left and it only had a little left on the tops. some mtns north of Globe: Julie got to play in the deep snow. It was over 4 feet deep, but she only sank in a foot or two. I was sinking to my thighs and still not touching the ground. here is some video of Julie in the snow...should make you laugh out loud or at least put a smile on your face. She had to use her "tigger" bounce to get around. She could only do so many leaps before she had to stop and rest. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/video_clips/julie_in_snow.wmv

Coues Deer Celebration 5 (no, it's not a new one)
CouesWhitetail posted a topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Hey All, With all the big bucks this year, I was thinking of some from last year. Most of them are in the Coues Deer Celebration 5 video. For those that have joined the forum in the last year, you might not have watched this video yet. Basically what I did was take over 200 photos and some video all submitted by forum members last year and set it to music to make a mini-movie. It's lots of fun to watch the year in review so to speak. I haven't made a new one since this one (am behind on it!), but you might still appreciate the old one. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/video_clips/...lebration_5.wmv Enjoy!! Amanda -

Are there two different cats? The one at 0954 seems bigger and has more striping on front legs? The other three seem the same to me and are at roughly the same time. Maybe the earlier three are the female and 0954 is the male? Amanda

Prayers sent. I hope they can make it through this together as a family. Amanda

Well, I tried to take my dog Julie for a walk yesterday but the snow was at least 4 feet deep where we tried to go!! Made for some tough hiking! But Julie had fun trying. We had to blaze a trail in and she would try and bomb back and forth on it. I called her back to me from around the tree and she came back as fast as she could! Tough to get pics of her because she is so fast! Look at the snow up to the top wire of this barb wire fence!! We actually just stepped over it! The sunset was gorgeous!! A view to the Hog mtns in the east: And the pinals:
