Amanda Moors aka "KILLER"

Well, since I have that tourney coming up, I figured I better get some ice time. So this weekend after I attended the AZSFWC banquet I stayed in PHX and got to skate the next morning. Did some stick time and then got in on a pickup game. In total it was three hours of hockey, so that was awesome! I had fun getting back on the ice. I was a bit rusty though....need some more ice time. I wish they would build a rink in Globe! -
Ok, here is the list so far. Let me know if I am missing anyone... 1. Hector 2. Orlin 3. Mark N. 4. Kathy N. 5. Cookie N. 6. Amanda 7. Eric K. 8. Colton B. 9. Mrs. Colton B. 10. Bill Cullins Then we have Phil Cramer taking 7 more seats, so that's 17 so far, so we still have space for 3 more. Bonecollector? RedRabbit? you mentioned you might be in town and want to go....let me know.

You mean this one? This is how I wanted Scott Adams to mount his giant buck! I love it.

Good job. Let's hope they run a story. And let's hope they include the fact that hunters are working down there to clean up the trash. Here are some pics from one of the pick-ups I helped on a few years ago.

Congratulations!

Those are some good ideas on things to hunt without a scope. When I first moved to AZ, we only had an open sight 30-30. I remember watching a nice coues buck across the canyon and not being able to get close enough for a shot. Since then I have hunted them with my scoped .270. But I like the idea of that 30-30. I might have to give it another try. -
if you have water in the tank you don't really need any other attractant, assuming it's good deer habitat around the tank.

Sorry, you can't just copy the link above because the forum shortens it, but if you click on it first and then cut and paste it out of your browser address bar, you should get the full address. -
Great pics and bummer about not having the cell service there! At least you got some good exercise! P.S. I would have died if I opened my pics and saw that giant buck!!

You know, I like the idea of a "name this business" contest. So if you are ok with it Jeremy, I will give a CouesWhitetail.com tshirt to the member who comes up with the name that Jeremy picks. Of course Jeremy may not pick any name you guys suggest, but if he does, then the winner gets a free tshirt. -

no form that I know of, but if you need some sort of receipt so that you can deduct it as a charitable donation, call Derek Taylor and he can work it out for you. 480-223-2775 I know he can work the donations through Outdoor Experience 4 All so that it is all tax deductible but he also had some other options for handling that. -

Thanks also to Elkaholic who has agreed to donate some gamebags to help them when they get a buffalo! Gary's gamebags are great and you can purchase them here on CW.com if you like. Thanks for your generosity Gary! http://www.coueswhitetail.com/bookstore/gamebags.htm -
Amen to that. We often forget how quickly life can end. It's always a good idea to cherish every moment we are blessed with. Thank you for the reminder.

Hey All, The fundraising banquet for AZ Sportsmen for Wildlife Conservation Banquet will be May 15 in PHX and Sarah Palin will be the guest speaker. I have been wanting to get a CouesWhitetail.com table together for that, so I am wondering how many of you would like to attend. Tickets would be $150 each. Anyone want to go?? Let me know ASAP. Help a young hunter get a liver!

Sadie has requested to go on a hunt before she starts the liver transplant process and Eddy Corona just told me that they have a bull buffalo hunt lined up for her. Mary Keebler has donated her buffalo tag to OE4A and so now we are working on getting Sadie up there for a hunt. -

There are sites that look like that throughout southern az. It's really sad. And there is a hunting group that works to pick that stuff up, it's called Hunters Who Care. I don't think they have a website but I usually post in the calendar here when they have pickups scheduled. I encourage everyone to go down sometime and help out.
