Great quote....good words to live by

The old treestand doesn't mean much in terms of if anyone is really planning on hunting it. I would say you should feel free to hunt it unless the day you go to hunt there is someone already there. First come, first serve. You could always leave a note saying you plan to hunt there and if someone else wants to work out a schedule they can call you.

Hope all three of you have a great day today! Quite the ages...ranging from 34 to 53!

Elkhunter...happy bday to you too! You must not have your bday entered in the forum software since it didn't show up as your bday today.

My husband and I found this hawk north of Globe back in February and it was roosting with a bird that was apparently its mate. I hoped we would find the nest this spring and that's exactly what happened last night. I wonder if any of its babies will be white? Like the white bighorn sheep I posted recently, this hawk isn't a true albino but a leucistic form that lacks pigment in some areas of its body. here are some digiscoped pics from Feb (didn't take any last night).

We have been seeing the bird at it's nest lately. Can't tell if it has young yet or not. here are some photos taken by a photographer friend (Jim Burns):

Sadie's father, Sadie, Derek T. and Lance and crew are all heading up right now to go hunt buffalo. Let's all wish Sadie good luck on her hunt! Those buffalo hunts can be tough, but I have faith in them all to work hard and get it done! Lance and his crew have killed several buffalo with their clients this year. He just sent me this one yesterday. It's their biggest to date! WOW! GOOD LUCK SADIE!! Hunt hard and have fun! -

There is no hard fast rule on it, but I think people tend to think of this section as pics from times before we were born...but there is no definition for this section....so it's open to whatever you think is vintage But heck the thread before yours covered the 1990's too, so maybe you are right on target

Any chance you can find a link on that federal law you are referring to so people can read it? -

+1 Lark. It's a real tragedy losing a man like Krentz. I spent some time working in Sulphur Springs Valley many summers ago and I stayed with a ranching family down there. They were having trouble with illegals back then and I can only imagine it has gotten worse since then. I pray for them and hope something like this doesn't happen to them. -
