Has anybody tried that Stoney Point setup?
-
Wow that is a bummer. You might stop by some hunting camps that you think are near to where the bull is. Maybe they have been looking for a wounded animal and you can help them find it before it dies. Even if it's not the hunter who originally shot it, then you might find a tag holder that is willing to shoot it.

Very Nice!! I like the 2nd pic. Thanks for posting all these, it's always fun to see sheep!

Very nice! Is it only catch and release there? Man I would have wanted to eat that trout!

Way to go Jeff!! Love the pics with your son!

Thanks for the info and links Str8shot and Buster! And Buster, I think for me the attraction is the ease of setup for the jumping jack and it's small enough that I can haul it behind my jeep. It sets up and takes down in just a few mins and I can haul it on the rough roads that I frequent. I do a lot of camping for work where I might get to camp at midnight and leave early the next day, so setting up a wall tent isn't the most practical. I agree they are very pricey and that's why I am looking for a used one and also why I haven't bought one yet

May God grant peace to those who lost so much on that terrible day..... and here is a link to the Alan Jackson song that I find so moving and a great remembrance of that wretched day nine years ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvj6zdWLUuk

Art Pearce shot this in Unit 10 this year. WOW! Nice! He has been putting in for antelope for 30 years and this is the first time he drew a tag! Congratulations Art. He will send me score info when he gets it....

Which model of Eureka Tent do you have?
-
Thanks for all the info Brian! I have wondered the same thing since I carried a rifle for a friend who had some trouble navigating some small rock bluffs. It wasn't until afterwards that I wondered about the legality of helping a friend like that. Glad to know it's ok.

White Suburban at Beardsley and Cave Creek Rds
CouesWhitetail replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Sticker Sightings!
Actually I wasn't...I was on the phone with a friend when he said "hey there is a sticker". So I figured I would post it up. Were you out around Globe a few weeks ago? Someone else told me they saw a white suburban with a sticker. -
Who is it?

+1!!!!!! Congratulations! Let's hear the story!

Well, my husband has some one last prickly pear class to teach at the arboretum and he needed some pears for it so we went out tonight to get some. The pears were really fat and ripe where we went north of Globe. Saw this cool praying mantis hiding in one of the prickly pears. Sorry I only had my cell phone with me to take pics with! the fat ripe pears:

+1 WoooooHooooo Count me in! sounds like I need to make Ppear margaritas at some sort of CW.com gathering! YUM! Also, my husband makes some outstanding bbq sauce with the ppear juice. He boils down the juice to make a thicker sort of glaze and then mixes in some store bought bbq sauce and jazzes it up with lots of spices and it's wonderful!

Awesome!! And thanks for waiting for a shot you were sure of, it takes some serious discipline to hold off on a shot with a buck like that in your scope! Congratulations!

Do you know how long the hunt lasts? Can't wait to hear about it.
