Very nice Cody!!

As I always recommend....buy National Geographic topo program and print out any topo map of the state you want. It is so easy to do and you can plot out all your GPS locations on the maps too. And you can print at 5 different scales, including the 7.5 min topos.

Congratulations on the bull! If you still have the lower jaw you can age it yourself by looking at reference photos in the AGFD publication on aging animals. If you call AGFD you can ask if they still have some copies of that available. Might even be able to order it online. Great reference guide. Or just post the pics of the lower jaw and I can use the book I have to help age it for you.

So, who remembers who shot this buck and when? Mike Fabritz (aka Rembrant) did this wonderful rendering of it for us to use on a tshirt design. I think it looks awesome! Thank you Mike!

Hello, This is just a reminder that CouesWhitetail.com is again sponsoring a Coues Buck Contest for 2010-2011. We have some great prizes donated and we are adding more all the time. In order to be eligible for the contest you have to be a member of this forum before your hunt starts and you have to post your hunt pics and story and then send the link to Doug. You don't have to have killed to win a prize, you can enter a "best spirit of the hunt" photo or the best hunt story part of the contest even if you don't get a buck. here is a link to the contest info: http://www.coueswhitetail.com/Coues_Buck_C...est_2010-11.htm Also, we are having a Bull Elk contest and the rules are pretty much the same. You must be a member of this forum before your hunt starts and you have to post your pic and story and send the link to TAM to be entered. For more information on the contest, visit: http://www.coueswhitetail.com/Elk_Contest_...Elk_contest.htm Thank you to those who have donated prizes to the contest! And please remember to support those who support this website If anyone has anything they would like to donate to either contest, please let me know. amanda@coueswhitetail.com thank you and good luck this season!

What does your brother's wife want for her hunt? Is she going to be happy with the 380? Is she going to be upset if she holds out for a 400 and goes home empty handed? You could always shoot one of the broken ex-400 bulls and just have a taxidermist fix the broken tines.

I see they listed Steven Ward of Wards Outfitters as a prostaffer for ghost blind. Maybe we can find out what he thinks of them. He is elk hunting now, but I will send him a txt and ask about it.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing your hunt! Where is the pic of Woody's bull?

Free cell phone charger for Casio G'zone
CouesWhitetail replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Classified Ads
The chargers are just the standard chargers for the Casio Gzone. I will wait for Dave to get back to me on what he finds out about it fitting the Rock. and yes, you can see the battery level on the Covert 2 on the remote. Look for the battery indicator light near the top of the remote display when the cam is turned on. You can email me with any followup questions: amanda@coueswhitetail.com -
Free cell phone charger for Casio G'zone
CouesWhitetail replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Classified Ads
I don't know if it fits the Rock or not. Maybe you could call Verizon or Casio and ask them? I would assume it would fit it, but I don't know for sure. The chargers I have were for my orange Casio Gzone. Let me know what you find out. -
Nice! Hunt details?

My husband and I went picking prickly pear fruits again yesterday and found this heart-shaped pear! What are the odds of this happening and what are the odds that I would find it? I thought it was very cool. So here is a heart to share with all of you!
