Outstanding!!

It was setup to automatically import the info they sent out on their newsfeed. But they changed something on their newsfeed output and it stopped importing properly. I contacted them a few times about it, but found no solution. Guess I keep hoping it will get fixed. But thanks for the reminder to see what can be done to fix it.

Find out where the permanent water sources are and focus on the areas within 3/4 of a mile of the water. Deer will be most abundant in areas with reliable year round water. In addition to hiking and looking for sign, just glass the area from a distance and you will learn how the deer are using the area. Watch where they are feeding in the morning and then where they head to bed down. You can even find hidden water sources by glassing from a distance and seeing how deer use the area. Also glass it under different conditions so you can learn how use patterns change with the weather (ie, windy, hot summer, cold winter, etc). Keep in mind that if it's really windy when you are glassing that the deer might be feeding down in the bottoms of drainages and not visible. So if your first attempt at glassing occurs on a windy day, don't get discouraged if you don't see deer. I got to go out with a falconer once, it was an awesome experience. He used a harris hawk to hunt rabbits around Tucson. Fun! It takes a ton of dedication to be a falconer!
