Garmin makes a GPS hunt map for AZ that's excellent. It has the land ownership boundaries and different colors for them on your screen. I have been using it for about a year now and really like it. They allow you to view satellite imagery as well as 1:24K topo maps. and as a bonus you get to support a sponsor of this site when you buy Garmin products. https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/maps/on-the-trail-maps/huntview/garmin-huntview-maps-arizona/prod532225.html

New to hunting these birds and have ??????'s

I use those camo face nets that are built into a camo hat. I find them very convenient since they can be tucked up into the hat for the times you don't need and then easily dropped out to cover your face when you are waiting for a gobbler to come in to your calls. And yes, for sure a seat pad of some kind so you can be comfortable enough to sit still. In addition to being a cushion, it will help keep you and your son warmer as you sit and wait. Because turkey hunting can involve sitting in the predawn hours near a roost, it can be hard to stay warm enough. So plan for whatever you and your son need to stay warm when not moving for long periods of time. -
I changed it months ago back to the normal tan/brown/green theme for the default...not sure why the Christmas one kept showing for you. Unless you actively select a them, then it should go to the default theme at the time. And thanks to Rossslider for showing a graphic of how to change it yourself. There are lots of choices....everyone can use whichever one they like best.

Wow, great buck! Congratulations!

Ok, sounds like it's more likely a forum glitch of some kind. I will see what I can do about it.

I went down to Whitewater Draw with a friend and enjoyed hearing and seeing the thousands of Sandhill Cranes down there. Wow, what an experience! I have been there several times, but it never ceases to amaze me. This time we camped right there and got to listen to the cranes throughout the night. If you have never gone to experience the approximately 30,000 cranes that winter down there, you should plan a trip! They are likely to leaving to head north again soon. Here are some pics and videos I took while there.

Coach, did you get my email about the Coues Calendars that went out today? Might take a day or two to show up for you, but let me know if that comes through. That might help us troubleshoot.

It's possible your internet service provider is filtering it as spam before you even download email to your computer. Maybe login to your ISP account and search in that junk folder or change spam settings.

I know you guys give so much of the stuff you win away, so this is good news for lots of kids and new hunters I am sure! Congratulations! -
hahaha, I was just thinking this yesterday while looking at a topo map on my computer....I was wondering "why do I so enjoy looking at the maps?" It's funny this topic came up at the same time. I realized what I enjoy is the endless possibility of exploring new country and the challenge of finding new routes or places to explore. I day dream about backpack hunts and finding sheds and skulls in newly explored drainages and ridges.

Just got the new BFG All Terrain KO2s on my jeep. I like the new changes they made to the tire. Handles great and is very quiet. With the old KOs I would get about 40K on them (same mileage on three sets of them, with daily off road use), hoping to get more mileage on the new style as they say it's supposed to be a lot more durable. here is a review on the new KO2s http://blog.caranddriver.com/baja-fresh-we-sample-bfgoodrichs-new-onoff-road-tire-the-all-terrain-ta-ko2/
