A few pics from the banquet.....one of our guys had the one SCI sticker under his chair which won him $300 worth of raffle tickets, if I remember right. That started our evening off right! Dinner was excellent as always....filet mignon...yum! And thanks to Gary for the owl figurines, that was thoughtful Cliff looked great despite recently having broken 10 ribs and his back and lots of internal injuries from a mishap with a bull at his ranch. So nice to see you recovering! Unfortunately, we didn't win a lot at our table, but it was a great evening and I enjoyed being able to chat with you all. Thanks again for your military service!

I like that it's different and new, but it is a little disturbing to me. Wow...did trphyhntr and I just agree on something? hahahah Perhaps without the frame it would look neat? I don't like how it's jammed in a box......

I never saw them or even knew about them until Dan Adler mentioned something about them while he was MC'ing the event. I had a great evening. Thanks to our military that came to the event and sat at the CWT table

CouesWhitetail posted a topic in The Campfire
Hey All! For the fourth year in a row, CouesWhitetail.com is giving free tickets to men and women who have served or our currently serving in the military. We normally fill three tables full of vets and CWT members. This is a fun banquet with great food! They have silent and live auctions as well as lots of raffles for guns and hunting gear. We always have a lot of fun, so if you are a veteran and want to attend, please call me (928-200-0544) or email (shown below in signature) me so I can make sure you get a ticket. You are welcome to attend again, even if you have attended in prior years. If you are a CouesWhitetail.com member but not a military veteran, you can still attend the banquet and sit with us, but you have to buy your own ticket. Also, if anyone wants to donate to this cause, you can help send more veterans to the banquet by donating money for tickets. Tickets are $70 each. The banquet is at the Loews Ventana Resort in north Tucson. It's a beautiful location and great for an overnight. SCI arranges discounted rooms. anyone else having a problem accessing the site?
CouesWhitetail replied to trphyhntr's topic in The Campfire
The problem was the spam hammer plugin for the wordpress side of the site. It was no longer valid and needed to be removed. Problem fixed now. Sorry for the inconvenience. -
My husband saw the bright flash when he was doing some owl surveys for me down on the Mexican border. He wasn't sure what the heck it was until seeing the news that night. He said it was pretty amazing...he was hiking with a super bright headlamp on and still the whole canyon lit up in a flash.

Ed seriously knows about mapping software and creating a great custom product. I have already learned a lot about GIS and other mapping software in my phone calls with him. In addition, he went out of his way to create a tutorial for a GIS program I was using for my other business as a wildlife biologist. If any of you have mapping questions or needs, please don't hesitate to call Ed. He can surely help you create something super useful for you. Even if you aren't sure what you want, give him a call and he will be able to help you find the best resources for you. Thank you for becoming a sponsor Ed! http://gameplannermaps.com/index.php
