If you are familiar with glassing and hunting for other big game in western states, then I think you could probably do it. But coming from out of state and with no experience with Coues and no time to scout, you might really benefit from hiring a guide. We have many great guides that sponsor this site. If you decide to go with a guide, I would check their webpages out. I went over to Bobby Beeman's house the other day to score this great muley he got in Utah a few months ago. Hopefully he will share his hunt story with you all after I post these pics for this contest. One is near the upper fork and one near the burr. They are a little hard to see in the pics, so you will have to look hard for them. Ryan, This has been discussed over on CW.com as well. Elk Hunter Magazine as a whole does not support HB2072. However, one of the editors did believe the bill was good for raising money for wildlife conservation in AZ and sent out that email you referenced. But Elk Hunter Magazine is not supporting HB2072.

I added three new DLC Covert Trail Cameras to the store today. One of the new models (Covert CA 3.0) is reminiscent of the Covert 1 style but is even smaller (about 1/2 the width of the Covert 1). The CA 3.0 camera is very small and is designed to be a more affordable camera by lowering the resolution and reducing the number of options for programming the camera. However, it is a great little camera! The Covert Extreme is the replacement for the old Covert 2 and it comes with more LED lights and a built-in color viewer. no, the company doesn't offer two packs anymore. If you buy several cameras though, we can talk about discounted prices. The 2012 models should be out sometime in March/April. I will keep you all posted when I get those in.

Thanks to forum member Chris for fixing up and selling me his popup camper! I picked it up last night and hope to camp in it next week during the women's javelina camp. It came pre-loaded with a CW.com sticker I think Chris charged me more because of that!!! It's not a big camper, in fact it's about the smallest popup you can get, but it's nice for towing behind the jeep and I think my husband and i will enjoy it! It's an older model, but the canvas and interior are in near perfect condition! And Chris threw on some new tires, gave me an extra propane tank, and redid the bearings and spindles for me...thanks Chris!!
