Yes, ElkAddict is correct. The button is in the exact same place next to each thread as it was before, it's just that now it's a dot or a small star rather than an arrow. You click on the dot just left of the thread name and it goes to first unread post.

The passage of SB 1221 by the senate casts a dark cloud over the future of all hunting and wildlife management in California. Senate Bill 1221 passed with a vote of 22 to 15 in favor. The bill, which is sponsored by the radical animal rights group Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), triggered a strong outpouring of opposition from California sportsmen and women, plus sportsmen’s organizations, in the state and nationwide. The U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance (USSA) denounced this retaliatory wildlife management bill that was created when HSUS could not have a state game commissioner removed for his legal mountain lion hunt. As the bill moved forward from introduction and through the hearing process, hundreds of opponents wearing orange “NO on SB 1221” buttons also packed the corridors of the capital to let their Senators know they opposed this anti-hunting bill. “The California Senate today chose retribution and revenge over sound science-based wildlife management,” explained Evan Heusinkveld, USSA’s director of state services. “Despite having a Fish and Game Commission explicitly designed to handle these questions free from the politics of the statehouse, the California Senate voted in favor of a hunting ban.” USSA has been working with the Masters of Foxhounds Association, California Houndsmen for Conservation and the California Outdoor Heritage Alliance to defeat SB 1221. So is there a legality issue of trail cameras on carcasses? not that I know of...unless you are killing the animal in order to put a camera on it (waste of game meat) or if you are moving the carcass from somewhere to the camera location (ie, moving a roadkill deer to a camera spot would be illegal transfer of game I think). but just putting a camera on a lion kill isn't illegal that I know of.

I don't think it will bother the deer or bears, but obviously will bother you. The young should have already hatched and will likely be out of the nest fairly soon. Could you see the young in the nest? I think within a couple weeks the young will be out and hopefully have moved away from your treestand. Once the young are further away from you, the adult will stop screaming.

Bill did you try the Xeriteq theme? I think that one is easier on the eyes than the IPB basic.

Hmmm....not sure what you mean, the color scheme is the same as it was before, so it shouldn't be harder to read. But if you don't like the tan theme, just go select of of the others. Look for "Change Theme" in the bottom left corner and click on it. Then you can choose from Club (the tan one), Xeriteq (a new blue one which I think is really easy to read), or IPB Basic which is basically a simple blue one.
