+1, you can check out tons of great products side by side at Outdoorsmans. And yes, another option is you can always drive to Globe to see one at my house. Just contact me first so I can tell you if I will be around or not.

64 year old woman swimming from Cuba to Florida! And she is almost there!
CouesWhitetail posted a topic in The Campfire
Talk about tough! Diana Nyad is attempting her fifth try at swimming from Cuba to Florida. She first tried it in 1978! She is an Olympic long distance swimmer and this has been a dream of hers for 35 years! Anyway, she is almost to Florida....looks like she is going to make it this time. To set a record she has to not touch any of the support boats that are there to help keep her safe. The swim takes 3 days or more! you can follow her progress realtime on her website. http://www.diananyad.com/ -
Yes, they are nonprofits. You can always check an organization's website and see if they list their nonprofit status.

I talked with Josh this morning. His appendix burst and he dealt with the pain for a couple days before going to the hospital (which is VERY dangerous due to infection possibilities!). He got emergency surgery in Cottonwood very soon after he got there. He is doing better now but is very tired and needing to rest up. He expects to be at the hospital another couple days.

Any one have a good recipe for a 270 win
CouesWhitetail replied to swaro06's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I shoot the 130 grain Hornady SST in my .270. I use 55.5 grains of 4350 powder. I started using that load because my neighbor had an old Hornady book that recommended that as the accuracy load for a .270 (we started out using the spire point bullets though). Works great, but I actually think I got better accuracy out of the standard hornady spire point bullets. The SSTs have tremendous knockdown power though....amazing bullet. -
You are welcome!! Glad you find it useful! And Doug we used to have a positive-negative-neutral rating system for each member and we had to discontinue it because people were abusing it. It seemed people were using it to hate rather than help. There may be some other kind of system we could use, but I am not sure what it would be. I think IPB has a separate classified add-on we could use, but it kind of breaks up the forum.
