This dude turns 12 today!

The boy, the dog and I headed up north for a few days before school started. The dog did some retrieves in A1, and Levi caught his first trout at Bog Tank.

Selling my Leer 100xr camper shell which is on my 2018 Tundra Crewmax short bed. Purchased new at Toms Camperland in Mesa. This will fit most other trucks with short beds. Currently it’s painted to match the grey Toyota manufacturer color but you can have it painted to any other color. Lockable rear flip up window(I have keys)/window jacks are new, carpeted interior, LED interior lighting, sliding and screened side windows added features: sliding/removable front window, Thule Rack rails added to roof I paid around $3K selling for $800 OBO I live in Phoenix/Ahwatukee near the 202 and 17th Avenue. Here are a couple of pointers. 1. There is no cell phone service. A satellite communicator is a must or a newer phone that can text over satellite 2. roads are terrible when wet. Bring everything you need to get yourself unstuck. Traction boards, come-along etc. 3. Be bear aware and smart in your camp. Have bumped into a few over the years and seems to be happening more often 4. Have your tag on you at all times. They will check it every time they see you. Even if you just passed them 10 mins prior. Good luck

Yep the last 10 years I lived in the valley I went back and forth between whichever one of those is the Wickenburg station and KDKB. Mostly KDKB. I’m pretty much a country fried rocker I guess

The office is a mess. The people are awesome. Dan is awesome and full of excellent invaluable option, can't say enough good stuff about that guy. I've had all kinds of problems with the office. A few years ago it wasn't this bad. On the bright side, if you are persistent, and really want a tag, you will get one, and the people that can't handle the crap to go through to get one will give up. More good quality better hunting and less hunters to compete with. It's actually a good thing. It's really tough to get a tag though, I've had to drive down there a few times and its an hour and a half from my house, just to speak to a human and get a tag. But, it's worth it, you just have to figure out how to set the time aside to go drive down there which is difficult in today's time sucking away age. Once you deal with a human down there and tell them the problem, they'll usually go out of their way to help you. Over phone or email, forget it. The website is usable now, but you do have to figure it out.
