5 pointsWhat has been your dream hunt? Still dreaming, or did it come to fruition? For me, after I got out of college and started teaching in 1980, the hunting magazines lead my mind up into the northern mountains of the Yukon for a dall sheep hunt. I thought they were beautiful creatures. The hunt was out of my meager budget back then, and now the active geology has made the mountains too tall and steep for my legs.

1 pointim not a fan. i am not a glass snob but the only experience i have with the vx-6 is poor. my buddy has one on his 6.5manbun and i have shot it quite a bit. just doesnt ever feel clear to me. he may have a "bad" one though. it actually suprises me each time we go out as how bad it looks to ME. i have cheaper scopes amd more expensive scopes that all seem more clear.

1 pointWanted to share a short video I just put together of our 2024 hunts. Not much to it...5 kills and a couple missed shots. I'm still getting over the miss on that last buck. Missing a buck like that will give a hunter nightmares for the rest of their life. I'm just glad it wasn't me doing the missing for once 😜
