Buddy from Michigan’s son drew a junior elk tag first time applying and I took him to a tank that we are 💯 for junior hunts. This was no different. 40 minutes after sitting down they came piling in and the hunt was over.

If you don’t have any luck, try contacting Desert Labs rescue for help. They do a great job of vetting new homes, it would just depend if they have room or a foster available.

God bless your father. My father says when he can't hunt he's dead, honestly he's not really hunting, driving around but can't get out. 82 don't want to tell him he's taking a younger mans tag. But he's still alive. This really a tuff topic all ball busting aside. And sorry isn't about over the counter butt about. Men and Women who have earned a pass. Keep over the counter with Quotas

Sorry to hear. I think any active-duty military who gets drawn and can’t hunt because of deployment should be given the option to: 1) turn tag back in for bonus points (irregardless of whether or not they have point guard) 2) use the tag the next year We should take good care of those fighting for our freedoms

My grandfather had to quit backpack hunting into the wilderness when he was 70, maybe I should have told him to cry a river of tears to have someone let him take a dozer and make a road, because it's not fair for his old aZZ.... Instead he realized he was just too old to do it..., it will eventually happen to us all in some way, shape or form... Or maybe we should all just get thermal drones with guns and sit our lazy aZZes on the couch and hunt deer from there. There are programs to help people with disabilities, and lazy jack wagons take advantage of them and ruin it for everybody. There are two types of people, those that sit around feeling sorry for themselves and make excuses, and those who will put forward an effort no matter how the odds are stacked against them... It is what it is... I'm entitled to an opinion...You're entitled to an opinion... legal is legal... Doesn't mean I have to change my opinion or like it. If it went all primitive and we had to make our weapons, I for one would just be happy for the opportunity to continue hunting and would give it my all, while some would just give up and cry... Doesn't make someone an anti just because of a difference of opinion.

When do you need it by? I have some that I’d be willing to let go I think - but won’t be home until Wednesday. If you still need by then send me a text and we can figure out what they are worth. It’s actually Bismuth 7.5 3” 9/160z. 480-369-4923 in Gilbert josh

Yes, it’s pretty well accepted shooting spikes and crossbows is soy. having patience to sit water all day is not easy. Especially since camera bans. And if you’re killing off water you’re likely hunting coues so who cares

But what did you mean by moving north

Thanks for checking in. I still need to make some time to sit down and write out more detail, but the short story is it was an extremely difficult hunt. As many people mentioned above, I saw some great white tail but we saw more lions than we did mature muleys. Heard of a few others with the same tag that had difficult hunts too, but I can’t complain as I ended up with a beautiful buck. I’ll post more details after archery season is over.

If you aren't going to eat it then don't kill them. You can stalk them but use your camera or don't hunt them at all.
