We were able to get out for 4 days and had some bad luck with stalks. Either the wind shifted or there was no wind at all to conceal noises. On the 4th day we had some luck and pops was able to harvest this sow at 15 yards. 21 consecutive years for this fella with the stick and string.

Just to add on, Boarman is also one of the first to step up to help others, including me. Good dude, strong opinions, no different than lots of other guys on here. Thanks, levers, cool of you to give it away to someone.

I know a guy who needs a TV. I know people that need things and if I can help them I do. I know people who have good kids but finances are tight, so when I see stuff I know they will use, I pick it up for them. So I have some freedom with time. I'm old. That's better than sitting on the couch waiting for the Grim Reaper to show up! Going to another friend's funeral on Saturday. Just a year older. They are starting to drop like flies. I don't know why everyone is dying to get into a cemetery. I'll lose that race. Last place doesn't look that bad to me when it comes to that! But I also buy things on here. And when I can, I try to help.🤣

It’s to bait them into litigation. Sadly too often the officers are used to people forfeiting their right so when some one actually knows their rights they loose their cool. I say this from a Leo family/household with plenty of IA experience.

Looking at their reports and deciphering them is ALMOST rocket science.

Unlike my elk tags, I take my women how I can get them. Basically got an OTC tag coming over tonight.

Moral or not whenever I draw a sheep tag I know who I’ll be inviting…

Nothing moral about the support you provide

Well I got skunked. I passed bucks i shouldn't have. For those that smirked, look up my strip hunt, I am not right in the head. Yesterday, I hiked in 2.5 miles in the dark. got to my glassing spot at the edge of the rez and after an hour and a half found a buck I would be happy with. It had eyeguards that looked longer than my hand. Set up for a shot @431 yards. I actually practiced upto 440 yards in preparation. I setup with a very solid rest, squeezed the trigger and the bucks disappeared. After checking for an hour or so. No signs of a hit, whatsoever. What I learned 1 - there is no rut in December 2 - hunters treat a December coues tag like a September elk tag. With a lot of helpers 3 - setting up for a long range shot solo is very hard 4 - practice shooting angles as much as distance. 5 - be persistent. No matter how boring looking at the same spot is, eventually something will walk by. No regrets. I will go back to still hunting for a bit.

Been trying to figure out the proper way to go about this. Was going to make a different post…but basically, on day 4 I was able capture lightning in a bottle and dig up one of those big Coues bucks. I found this buck on Thursday morning after hunting half of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I found a nucleus of bucks and was just starting to kind of figure it out when I stumbled across this guy. I had no idea what he was when I shot. After passing up a couple medium bucks, I spotted this one at 286 yards, got him in the spotting scope before the morning sun had hit him, and right then he turned toward me. All I saw was “a big brow” and said “YEP YEP YEP! That’ll do.” I got a great surprise when I walked up to him.

Being honest again... You were the first one I thought of when I posted. You can't resist. Funny again that you are stalking me and remember all my posts. You are in the top 2 and the other guy quit... have a nice day. Ed F

i was thinking the same thing about you. you love jumping in on any negativity about the site. either you post classifieds, or bitch about them. be consistent at least. pick one or the other

Been a classified site for years... If someone posts something hunting related there's half a dozen regulars who tear them down from their recliners. Before I die I'm gonna buy my coffin on CWT. Ed F
