I’m not gonna lie, the color on those horns made me tent up a bit.

I have done three Couse skulls in copper and two in bronze, both with patina applied. Using quality products (Actual metal coatings) from Sculpt Nuevou. A unique way to time capsule a memory. Interested in doing this for others as a little hobby. If you have a clean euro that you would like to have done, I would be happy to do one at cost of the materials in turn for your review here. No idea what to charge for the service thereafter and open to suggestions. This is a multi-day process is to clean, prime and the apply three coats of metal. Finish with patina for an aged look (If desired), buff and apply a matte clear coat. About a week to allow proper drying cycles between steps. I can do the euro too, but prefer to work with a clean dry skull and just focus on the metal application. Attached are some pics for reference, with and without patina applied.

Yeah he was definitely a brawler. The character in his horns is great! I could stare at them for hours

When I finally got to looking into what I had with my grandpa's Rem 1100, I called Remington's customer service and they ran the serial number for me. I don't know if that's an option anymore, but something to look at. Other avenues mentioned above are great, too. Turns out my grandpa's 1100 was 1964 and among the very first runs of 1100s Remington ever made.

First off, let me give a huge thanks to Chris(CrazyMonkey). We could not have pulled it off without him. He sacrificed so much to help make this happen for AJ. I don’t have time to tell the story yet. I will get to it in a couple days. I just got home to Arkansas and need to get caught up. Dan

This is Clay Goldman at Mogollon Taxidermy. I normally don't post but I feel the need to present the facts about the post from wildwoody, Dennis Wood, from above. Dennis and another individual brought a sheep cape and horns to me to have mounted. The cape was tanned and did not appear to be a fresh tan from my experience. I explained to the hunter that the cape might have what is called acid rot and that it might fall apart when we soaked it up to work on it. I didn't feel I could uphold my high standards with the lack of information on the tan so I declined the job and they took their sheep cape and horns with them. I did not "promise" to destroy your son's cape. You have mistaken arrogance with honesty and being straight forward with you about the sheep skin. I am glad your son found someone willing to take on his sheep mount and that it came out good for him. Please don't bash me on a public forum like this again without giving all of the facts.

I'm sure everyone is different. It took 10 years for my grief to "subside" when my daughter passed at 18 in 2007. Still hard to talk about it without breaking down.
