I have a Win. 670 in 243. I put a aftermarket Pachmayr but pad on it as well as had a custom muzzle brake put on it (GS said he cerkoted the brake, apparently Hoppes 9 will eat it off). I did bed the rifle as well. Has a Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9 on it mounted in Leupold base/rings. I though it would work for my two little boys but i ended up just building them a 223. Now I need a shotgun for them...LOL! Really just want to trade for a O/U 410 shotgun. If I had to sell it. $500.00

As I patiently wait for my December rifle hunt to be here , I figured we’d have a little fun guessing the score of my last rifle buck I was blessed to have taken . I’m getting him officially scored in a few days to see if he can be entered into Boone and Crockett , then will be sending him off to Clay to have shoulder mount done. I know a bunch of you guys are pretty good at guessing score on these little majestic creatures from god off of photos So let’s see who’s the closest to the exact measurement. To help you with a guess , his inside spread is 16 inches !!

Lucky that my little dude loves going out there with me. Now, if he could get a deer and or elk tag in Az, that'd be great.

SOLD PENDING FUNDS I am offering for sale my very high end Spanish made Zamacola model 111 12 gauge true Side-lock shotgun. This shotgun was made in 1962 during a period of time when hand made highest quality Spanish shotguns were being made. This gun operates perfectly and is in what I would put at 90 percent plus condition with exhibition quality wood. The bluing is like new and the 100 percent heavy relief engraving covers the frame. With hand detachable locks, double triggers and front articulating trigger. Automatic safety. Please see the page I posted on the model 111 from the Zamacola catalog. Here are some specs. The stock has a 14” length of pull, Prince of Wales grip, with a checkered butt. The forend is a Beavertail. Hand cut checkering at 28 lines per inch. The Barrel is the original 27 5/8” length, ejectors, concave matted rib, with an ivory front bead. Chambers are 2 3/4” and chokes are full/ ex full. Total weigh of the shotgun is 7 lbs 2 oz. And comes in a nice break down case. If you have ever wanted a beautiful sidelock shotgun this is an opportunity to own one at a very great price. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I am also happy to ship to your FFL $2500 packaged, shipped, and insured to your FFL or save $100 if picked up at my home in Tucson. I will be traveling to Prescott next week so we could meet in person along my route and also save on shipping.

Looking at selling my like new 870 28 ga. This would come with the original box, choke tubes, manual and 150-200 rds of ammo. This has the receiver engraving, 25" barrel w/vent rib. I'm not sure why but I see where they are asking well over a grand for these online. Therefore I'd be comfortable at 1000 with the ammo. If there is interest, I'll post pictures later this week. Thanks

Great buck, do you have any field photos?(you holding it?) Those type of pictures are very deceiving. From those pictures I think he may gross B&C minimum but I don't believe he will net enough to make book. But who knows... IMO that buck is way cooler than any score.

I can't speak directly to FPS loss but we own a couple of the ULs (6.5 prc 24" and 280ai 22") and bought a KLYM in 7prc 22" https://savagearms.com/firearms/model/110-klym last year that starting to really like. I have handled and shot the UL elite and handles very well and shoots as good as any of my ULs and if by far the the lightest thing I have shot. I jumped on the KLYM before I handled the UL Elite and might have done it differently had I waited but am liking that KLYM quite a bit. My opinion on the short barrel is essentially - If you go with the 7prc you are getting 7rem mag performance without having to carry 4-6" of extra barrel and weight. Pretty sure the animal won't know the difference and why carry the length and weight. Is it a few more clicks if shooting side by side - for sure but so what when you take 1/2 lb or more off that front end and don't have to unsling/unpack/walk like a U to go under mesquites.. That's the advantage of the new rounds/loads to me. Again, just an opinion there

My niece had her 3rd and final youth cow hunt this weekend. We started off with a great honey hole tip from my buddy but unfortunately was an off-morning for the local heard...no elk. Beautiful spot with a beautiful sunrise view so definitely a successful morning regardless. Evening hunt we decided to drive and glass our way into a good area where we always see elk. on the way in we spotted a lone cow across a canyon and set up. 520yds facing west with the sun DIRECTLY behind the ridge. Horrible look. we moved down the road a bit and gained about 70 yds for a 450yd set up. Still bad sun but doable. We sat on it for about 45 min waiting for the sun to go behind the peak. 5 min before the sun dipped the elk decided to move. Neice said she was good and had a clean shot and took it. This young lady is ice cold. Zero nerves. Number 3 down after less than 20yd. 260ai built by axis works with massive input and help from Lance. Thanks again my friend. She loves it! aand a HUGE thanks to my little buddy mattman for being a human mule and savi g this old mans life. blue haired assassin has yet to miss when shooting at elk. 2020 480yds 2022 530 yds 2024 450 yds
