SOLD PENDING FUNDS I am offering for sale my very high end Spanish made Zamacola model 111 12 gauge true Side-lock shotgun. This shotgun was made in 1962 during a period of time when hand made highest quality Spanish shotguns were being made. This gun operates perfectly and is in what I would put at 90 percent plus condition with exhibition quality wood. The bluing is like new and the 100 percent heavy relief engraving covers the frame. With hand detachable locks, double triggers and front articulating trigger. Automatic safety. Please see the page I posted on the model 111 from the Zamacola catalog. Here are some specs. The stock has a 14” length of pull, Prince of Wales grip, with a checkered butt.The forend is a Beavertail. Hand cut checkering at 28 lines per inch. The Barrel is the original 27 5/8” length, ejectors, concave matted rib, with an ivory front bead. Chambers are 2 3/4” and chokes are full/ ex full. Total weigh of the shotgun is 7 lbs 2 oz. After a couple missed opportunities Friday and Saturday, a buddy’s son spotted this guy bedded at 288 yards. My son decided it was the deer for him and the rest is history. Fantastic hunt and experience. Couldn’t be prouder

Hello everyone and thank you for allowing me in this group! The information in here has been great! We are from Oklahoma and my son who is in the Air Force is gonna come hunt with me in January and looking to get some leads on good areas for Coues. We shoot trad archery but may bring compounds just in case. We drew 36 for javelina so we will most likely focus on this areas. Any help would be greatly appreciated and would be willing to trade an Oklahoma whitetail hunt in the future for good intel!

Great buck, do you have any field photos?(you holding it?) Those type of pictures are very deceiving. From those pictures I think he may gross B&C minimum but I don't believe he will net enough to make book. But who knows... IMO that buck is way cooler than any score.

You may not believe this. Helping my nephew on his junior hunt on Friday he takes a couple of shots at a giant coues. We split up and look for evidence of a hit. After five hours of looking, nothing. I decide to take a drainage back to the trucks. At dark, I was thinking of putting my headlamp on, when I step on a rattlesnake. Thinking fast or slow, idk, i dive off the snake into rocks 3 or 4 feet down and 6 feet away. Hitting my right side in those rocks and knocking my sidearm another 6 feet in front of me. I put it back in the holster, go a few yards father. Grab my headlamp and start looking for snakebites. Quick once over and I'm okay. Now fully dark and my headlamp properly placed on my head. I see a set of yellow eyes looking at me maybe 15' higher 40 or 50 yards down the drainage. I get closer, only watching the eyes the whole time with them moving out of sight a couple of times only to go back to back to it's perch. With me yelling at it the whole time I am now 20 yards away. My brother and nephew get back to the truck and give me a call. I tell them what I am looking at and my brothers yells SHOOT! Ironically, the pistol i brought was only for snakes. The heritage revolver with a 22 mag cylinder. With my brother on the phone, I pull the trigger back and click, again, click and again. Finally when I stopped aiming i get a round to go off. Peppering yellow eyes with rock shrapnel. It finally turns and I don't see yellow eyes anymore Now it gets dangerous. I go further and come to a dried out waterfall, 12 or 15 feet high with Cliffs on both sides. Instead of going back through snakes and demon eyes, i decide to scale down. Takes me awhile and couple of different descents only falling when I am 6 inches from the bottom. I get to the trucks, drop my pants and have my brother and nephew check for snake bites. I had my nephew google what north american animals have yellow eyes. There are two. Mt lions and raccoons. This wasn't a racoon. The next morning I find this on my boot. Oh and couple of days later, my nephew gets his first buck!

My son was finally blessed with his first kill of any kind. For the last 3 years he has hunted busting his but trying to get a buck. He has a condition with his hips where he has a flat spot on the ball. I know it hurts him but he never complains so I have keep an eye on him. We had to deal with high temperatures down south. On Sunday we went to a spot my cousin said may hold good Muledeer i was thinking it might be easier walking. We we didn't find any muledeer and about 9 we where on the move to another glassing spot. Something told me to stop the truck and glass and within 5 minutes I had 2 whitetail bucks at probably a mile. We got ready and moved in on them. We found them again at 500 yards and watched them bed. Then we moved closer within 300 yards I told my son to settle in it might be a while. Well he was getting restless and we spoke about if he was wanting to stay or head back to the truck. He said let me think about it for a while I responded with ok while you think about it I will glass maybe one of them stood up. And sure as shoot the 2x2 was on his feet. His dad just passed away a mouth ago and was supposed to be there. JJ "tag holder"decided this hunt was for his dad and wanted to go ahead and go. We all thank God on how everything played out. Wasn't a easy hunt and 102 degree temp midday Wasn't ideal for kid's.
