After a couple missed opportunities Friday and Saturday, a buddy’s son spotted this guy bedded at 288 yards. My son decided it was the deer for him and the rest is history. Fantastic hunt and experience. Couldn’t be prouder

I am selling my unfired SKS YUGO Model 59/66 7.62 x39. Most of the cosmoline has been removed. Has the blade bayonet and grenade launcher. It has been converted to a large capacity magazine ( removable AK-47 style). You would look hard to find one in this nice of condition, close to this price. Im in Tucson but will be traveling to Globe as well as Phoenix and Prescott Valley, and Wilcox over the next two weeks. $600 is my lowest price. I will sell to the 1st person that states they will take it, followed by a PM. THANKS PHIL

God continues to bless me, and today was no different! Unit 34a was scheduled to close today at sundown, so I headed down for the final day in hopes of killing a big ole bruin, but just happy to be outdoors! I had never killed a bear with a rifle (3 with bow and one with handgun) so I decided to take the old 30/30 lever action out for a try. This big ole bruin walked out right before sunset and presented himself at 42 yds. 1 shot from the old lever action and he tumbled into the gulch below, but he wasn't done as he reared up and began to come straight for my tree stand! 2 quick shots put a end to that and then the work begun! this bear stood nearly 4ft high as he walked in, a monster of a bear ( maybe some Mexican Griz DNA in him). I was a little nervous as I walked up to him, because he was so big! The pack out sucked! I hurt everywhere now! We green scored the skull at 20.5" tonight! Amazing day for a last day of the hunt! I think I'm done bear hunting! Too old for this stuff! lol. Truly Blessed!

Hello Everyone, I've finally decided to part with my 1996 4runner that has 280000 miles. I was new to 4runners when I got this thing 4 years ago and had a lot of fun getting to this point but it's time to move on. This is a hunt ready 4runner! Here's what I know 1996 4x4 runs great w ice cold a/c Automatic transmission Factory e-locker No drips Ironman 3" lift 285/75R16 mud terrains with good amount of tread True North fabrications front and rear bumpers with spare tire swing out. Zeak 10k winch with synthetic rope mounted in front bumper. Aftermarket grill guard with lights as well as ditch lights and some backup lights. Upgraded the center console to the next version with some cup holders. Installed about 5k miles ago New OEM upper and lower ball joints New Whiteline bushings New front axles New Freedom Offroad upper control arms New tie rod ends New steering rack bushings New sway bar links New cat and 02 sensor replaced after cat theft Local 4runner guru did the timing chain, water pump and all the related stuff back in 07/23. He has also recharged the AC and replaced the power steering pump and a hose to take care of a some leaks. A couple of cons, i built this thing with hunting in mind so the exterior is coated in Raptor liner so I imagine if you wanted something different it would take a lot of elbow grease. I also removed the rear carpet in the cargo area and bed lined that as well. No roof rack, i was going to install a fancy one on but never got around to it. Located in central AZ with no frame rust Asking $6500 obo

Selling a Winchester Model 70 Featherweight in 30-06. The serial number is 528xxx which makes it a 1960 production year. It has Leupold scope bases, and it's in good condition. It's not a collector grade rifle, but it is a nice piece of American history. The recoil pad looks like it's been changed. Asking $1,200 OBO or trade for Stainless bolt action rifles or stainless Thompson Center Encore. Located in Chandler.

Fierce Fury 7mm Rem Mag with 26” barrel. Just bought a new 7PRC rifle so moving on from this one. Shoots the factory Barnes 160 gr VOR-TX extremely well, sub ½ MOA (see pic). Previous owner also had sub ½ MOA groups with a load he worked up with 160 accubonds, and it shot the factory Precision Hunter 162 ELD-X right around 1 MOA. Bought this gun during COVID and had a heck of a time getting powder/components other than a mountain of Hornady 180 ELD-M’s I already had on hand. Couldn’t get that particular bullet to shoot as well as I would have liked, though it may shoot well with other heavies (Berger 180’s or 190’s). I just wasn’t able to get my hands on any other bullets to try. Handles and shoots like a dream, really like the way these Fierce’s are put together. $1375 including the 30mm Talley scope rings, but the scope and bipod are not included.

Hey guys, I've been on here a long time and rarely ask for any area-specific advice but I am headed to 13A in a few weeks and could use any information or suggestions you may have. I know the first thing a lot of folks will say is "get a guide". I have nothing against guides at all, it's just not something I'm planning to do. Of course, there's the "Go scout it" advice also but being nearly 12 hours away and all my time off from work committed to the hunt itself I probably won't get much scouting time before the hunt. That aside, I hunted 13B solo back in 2012 and killed a nice buck (I'll look for a link to the story), but I've only been to 13A once to help out a friend and was only there for the first couple days and didn't learn too much about the unit. I'm planning to camp on the S side of Mt. Trumbull and I've been studying the area on OnX marking water sources etc. My understanding is the rut should be going strong - the hunt starts Nov 15th - so in a way the deer could be just about anywhere. I'm mostly interested in getting away from the combat hunting that sometimes occurs up there, where everyone is focused on the same area and racing to beat everyone else to the punch. I'm in good shape and willing to hike but it looks like there are roads just about everywhere. Any tips or suggestions are much appreciated! Thanks in advance. Jason

I ended up finding a bar height dinning room table on Facebook marketplace. It’s not a big table but it’s almost the same size as my workbench in the garage. It wasn’t as “heavy duty” as the seller said but the price was good and it’s not ugly. I’ll post some pictures when I can remember. also loaded my first batch of ammo and went to Usery to do some testing. First group shot like .25”!

I agree. I’ve spent well over $1000 on high end bipods and I still keep coming back to the Harris S25. In the short mode it’s perfect height for me prone. It’s the only one that when extended is perfect height for me to shoot sitting down. Faster then any other bipod out there to deploy, and if you actually sit down and compare the specs, they’re lighter then the other ones that are comparable lengths. Best of all they’re 1/3-1/4 the cost of the “high end” bipods.

Lots of good ideas posted here. One thing I will add is that when I ended up building my own, I intentionally made it 37" high to the top of the bench. This allows me to either stand or sit (with a tall shop chair), while doing tasks at the bench. I found that to be helpful for me since I sometimes like to stand while trimming brass on a hand trimmer if it's just a small batch. As others have stated you will want something with a heavy top that is sturdy and won't wobble every time you resize a piece of brass.
