I told myself a couple of years ago I was done with full size kitchen projects! Too old, too slow and too many crackling sounds in my joints! My good friends up in Flagstaff at P&M trailers asked me if I had one more in me!!! I’ve built several for them through the years so I told them okay one more but with no deadline 😂!!! I just did cabinets not countertops but I love what they chose to cap off the job! I had a top notch crew help me install including my #1 always there wife!!!! We did it!!!

Charles Daly Superior Grade single barrel trap gun. (made by Miroku) 32" barrel, fixed full choke. Monte carlo stock. Really nice condition, a few minor stock dings, zero blue wear. I bought this gun here on CW maybe a year ago, shot two rounds of trap. I was hoping my sons would use it but they're not interested at all in trapshooting. Nice gun that smokes targets. Priced to go quickly - $750 for local sale. East valley Phx area.

Missed the dove opener to fish a few days out of San Jose del Cabo in Baja. The marlin fishing was insane, landed & released 3 Striped from 80-100# and lost another after about a 15 minute fight, plus a beautiful 80# pez vela released and a few dorado kept one day, the next day I just wanted to fill the freezer and took 5 dorado, we missed two wahoo on the troll and killed a few skipjack for cut bait.

The Lord blessed me again with this awesome buck today. Crazy thing is I passed this buck up twice on two different days, totally mis judged his size. Today not sure what it was but I saw his antlers in a different light and decided he was good enough. He walked right under my stand and I was lucky enough for a 7 yard shot. A quick score before he went in the freezer came up with 109 2/8". His size was very deceiving, and his mass added up. And before anyone asks, I was alone, didn't have 20 guys on 20 different hills, didnt use radios, also the closest power lines were at least 14 miles away! I thought about posting this in the classifieds, but didn't want to anger Stanley 😬

About a month ago I picked up my dream spotting scope, a Leica apo televid 82 and have been enjoying glassing every morning. About 2 weeks ago I glassed up a bachelor heard of bucks in an out of the way spot and a big buck in the group caught my eye. He was a 180+ buck that is just uncommon in this area. Well after that day I never saw him again and switched my focus to dove hunting with my kids. This morning while walking a field looking for dove 2 1/2 miles from where is saw the buck originally he strolled from behind some cedars at about 80 yards. I guess I might have put the shotgun down and bring the bow out.

I know this buck didn't get this big by making mistakes and is probably a nocturnal drinker but there is only one water source within a mile in any direction so I decided to sit it this morning. Could have plugged a rag horn at 7 yards but no sign of the big buck

As much HP as your boat will allow. You'll never regret it especially for the mid day current flows. A strong trolling motor as well. It'll keep you in fishable waters easier when drifting and avoiding shallow boulders. A couple aluminum props. You will ruin your motor if you run a ground with a stainless prop eventhough you get alot better performance out of stainless. A Bimini top will keep you out of the sun. It can be brutally hot up there. Learn the river. Follow the guide boats up. They stay in the channel and know the river best. A depth finder on you console helps alot.

My wife and I just got back from a Spectacular fishing trip with Jim's fishing on Mohave lake. We both caught our personal best Striper. We were extremely fortunate to bring 12 fish to the boat in about 6 hours of fishing. If anyone is looking for a fun fishing trip, I HIGHLY recommend giving Jim a call. 928-245-3487

Every year i try and escape the Az heat and fill the freezer. This year was a great late run of sockeye salmon. With fish counts in the 100,000's it made for easy limits. The weather also cooperated to get in a day of halibut fishing out of Homer.

I have 4 that do that in my back yard. Sometimes they scare the shoot out of me by jumping up and stampeding out of the property when they're tucked back in the shade that I can't see lol
