That’s exactly what it is. Birds of a feather. He also supported Mark Kelly, go figure

It’s actually my second one believe it or not. I drew the first one with four points and then had to wait three years and then can put in on the fourth year, but luckily my son had five points so we put in together and both drew. Considering I have 19 points and I’ve never drawn in Arizona. It’s kind of nice.

lol, ok! Not sure what skin you have in the game with this dude but I'd have zero issues telling Giles or any other turncoat politician they are a sellout. No problems whatsoever. My country and freedom are more important then offending some talking head and there supporters.

Unbelievable how deep Trump Derangement Syndrome runs! Can’t believe how many prominent conservatives hate him so much that they’ll endorse two idiots running on zero substance other than they’re Joyful Warriors!

Leupold scope is in excellent condition and works perfectly. Has the stock elevation and windage turrets which are both capped. I have owned this scope since new and it's never been dropped or mishandled. Still tracks perfectly. $600 OBO Sig kilo 2200 BDX works perfectly as well just don't use it anymore. It's in excellent shape. Has a little scuffs on the body from being in the pouch. Glass is perfect. $350 OBO Located in Payson but am in the east valley once a week. 480-290-3848

You’d have to ask Mayor Giles himself what his motivation is, but I suspect it has nothing to do with Trumps “mean words” and more to do with his actions as a business man and as the leader of the free world. You can make vain assumptions about his intelligence and fortitude, but I suspect it’s you who lacks the backbone to meet him and debate the issues face to face. Your comments reveal far more about your character than his.

Exactly. I dont vote for someone's character, but I do vote for the person who will be preserve the freedoms that I still have and the interest that I care about.

These same ones are gaslighting themselves and the country because they stand on "morals and character" but vote for a liberal candidate out of "principal". But said liberal candidate despises everything they and there religion stand for and would crush the very morals they claim to hold dear given the chance. And that chance is closer everyday. Its not conviction these people have its lack of spine and brains for that matter. Because Trump doesn't talk like a polished horses a#$ they don't like his mean words. Trump is not squeaky clean and definitely says some ignorant crap sometimes no doubt but guess what, the alternative is not acceptable. We have a political party that believes in full on socialism, openly, and silencing its political opposition through weaponizing of the government against them. Now a Rino Mayor who rebuffs his party to join hands with these communist deserves our respect for speaking his mind like he's some martyr for the cause?? Wow, this country is lost.

Why is it important for you to tell the forum your son supports Harris?
  18. 1 point
I am impressed with a politician who is willing to forego party and speak his mind and convictions. If he thinks she is the best candidate, heck yeah I am good with him supporting her. It makes me want to puke when I see politicians roll over in order to toe the party line. I for one am glad to see someone being genuine, backlash be dammed. Make no mistake, his support of Harris will come at huge cost to him and his family. He was and is a Mesa community member way before a politician. Where he lives has long standing and deeply held conservative roots. There will be people who do everything they can to make him pay for this. I respect someone in the public light knowing this and choosing to speak out anyways. Don’t confuse that with me sharing those same political convictions. I have my own beliefs, they are different from his, but I respect his fortitude.

Hey azzhole, go cry on someone elses post. I'm trying to sell some shotguns.

John Giles has been a tremendous mayor for Mesa and is principled enough to speak his mind and not hide from the blowback. I haven’t agreed with him on everything, but I have respected the heck out of him. We need more people like this in politics. It’s a stark contrast to others who have seen the gravy train and quickly reversed course and done everything possible to climb on board.

So.... Who uses what for hearing protection?

Welp, I'm gonna continue to use the gutless method, use a radio for safety, and use my electronic muffs for hearing protection.

I wear ear protection when out practicing but when hunting nothing unless I’m a bystander then just fingers in the ears. There are benefits to having F’d up hearing if you’re married

Simple Hunter you might want to Start doing Reloads for your 300RUM and get those cost down to $ .80 - $1.20 a round..... I still limit my Shots but it is nice to know I am not spending that $50 - $65 a Box for Ammo.... As Far as Scopes I think most post here tell you that a little more magnification is always good ..... Brand is a preference ..... Your Zeiss, Swaro, and some other high end scopes may get you a little extra shooting time 10- 15 minutes , and any system is only as good as its weakest link ( usually in this case our Eye's) .... Find one that you like .... Put the time in at the range to know it .... and Have confidence in Shooting with it .... I think that is the one common here among these guys They All Have confidence in the Gun and Scope they are using and have the knowledge of their own complete systems to Do so.....

Lots of great scopes out there, but I have to plug the Cabela's Alaskan Guide series. I have two mounted on my favorite rifles. One (going off memory) is a 4-14 and the other is a 6-20 both in 40mm with mil dots. I think I paid between $275 and $325 for them, and for the money, they are fantastic. Both guns (both inexpensive) will outshoot me any day. The other scope I'd look at is the Vortex Viper or Diamondback - great optics, great price and a the VIP warranty - hard to argue with that one. Of course, if money is not a big consideration, Huskemaw, Zeiss, Swaro, upper-end Leupold etc are all great rifle scopes for sure - but IMO, there are plenty of great scopes out there that cost a lot less then the "best of the best" and do the job very well.
