Every year i try and escape the Az heat and fill the freezer. This year was a great late run of sockeye salmon. With fish counts in the 100,000's it made for easy limits. The weather also cooperated to get in a day of halibut fishing out of Homer.

When you hit this spot with some real pipe hitting Mf’ers you never know what you’re gonna get. This is a sample of some of the nicer catches.

Had an opportunity to go to Alaska and fish the Kenai River. My first time to Alaska. It was awesome! Brought back 53 pounds of Sockeye salmon. My son put together this video for me. I'm a rookie at making a video, so bare with me.

The boy, the dog and I headed up north for a few days before school started. The dog did some retrieves in A1, and Levi caught his first trout at Bog Tank.

For the lucky ones with unit 1 early archery/muzz/rifle tags the green up is great, water everywhere, tanks full, water in the road ruts. I’ve been camped here 4 days and 3 hours of lte afternoon rain is standard. I had the tag in 2020 and it was much drier. Good luck.

The boy and I were up there this past week. I was amazed how many people were camped middle of the week. We didn't see much for elk, but saw a ton of turkeys. Tried to kill a coyote or two to help them out, but wasn't able to. Beautifully green and a couple of great rainstorms up there. It should be a great year!

Well I just met with Hunter and it was a absolute pleasure. He was honest and is trying to do what he can for a friend of the family on her Jeep. More to come, I like what I see so far. I plan on using him in the future on my Duramax.

Why are you upset about my opinions? Just because I choose not to go there doesn't mean you cannot. Dennys is an amazing spot to grab a bite, and just for the disrepect to my beautiful wife, I will say, "I am sorry, you are an angry old man."

My buddy and I were finally able to get it done. We have been wanting to get a double together for some time but could never get it done due to a comedy of errors every season or terrible weather. This year we got it done on Sunday morning. both had nice 300 yard shots.
