Truck sold in one day of listing, $15.5k. Gonna leave this thread open for future listings and educate people on the value of these vehicles. Also going to continue to change my oil every 3k miles or so on the new rig.

Such a bad situation. He has done many mounts for me and is so talented. Last year I gave him another one to do with extreme reluctance. I opted to give him a deposit, but not my cap just in case. 8 months later, nothing. I ended up asking for a refund and he did in payments. I sincerely hope he figures life out. I think he has some demons that he is unable to stave off. I just got my last payment from him last week, so I know he is still plugging away.

Same but different... if you're just looking for cell service. My brother runs the Weboost cell phone extender. (there's one for sale in the classifieds here). At turkey camp, he would kick it on when we were out and about. He ventures out all over southern az and seems to do ok. I know in the spots he had it running, when i had no service years before, i had full bars. I think it consumes quite a bit of power, so they recommend not leaving it plugged in, or running a dual battery setup.

Never hurts to change the oil early, I worked at a machine shop that built engines. I can appreciate a internally clean motor, I could definitely tell who skipped or lagged on oil changes. IMO I would not go more than 5k. My buddy has the same truck exact truck and color, he had Toyota put in a new motor and accessories that ended up costing around 10.5k 5 years ago.

It's still Damm expensive! First quote for my house is 11k for a carrier unit or 12k for a trane. That's some serious toy money.

I have not posted on here in probably over 12 years, but stop on by from time to time to see the success folks are having. I stumbled across this thread a while back and turned out my 2014 F350 engine light came on. After trying to diagnose myself and fix, decided it was not a job I wanted to take on. Decided to give Hunter a call vs trying to get an appointment at one of the shops in town (4-6 week wait). Turned out to be a sensor that needed to be replaced, he completed swapping it out in quick time and truck is up and running again in time to haul a trailer up to Oregon. Saved time and money compared to trying to get an appointment with repair shop. He answered all of my questions and then some, very knowledgeable and was patient with my additional questions. It was a breath of fresh air seeing a younger 'person' taking the step to be self employed, he was knowledgeable, on time, and gave me a very fair deal! I'll definitely be keeping him as a contact going forward diesel repairs.

I can't wait for Starlink to connect to my phone so I can throw away my InReach. The new Starlink mini does looks like a legit addition to truck camp.

Wtf is going on lol I'm more concerned that people are willing to pay $16,000 for a 20 year old truck with 220k miles on it but hey if you can get that much more power to you.

Questions no one understand like paying 16k for a 20 year old mini truck?

Does changing your oil too often hurt the vehicle? Asking for a friend?

It's no fun when on an archery hunt, you scout hard. The season opens and each spot you go to, a non hunter tells you we have a client in this spot. And the same thing happens all day... Then you say screw it and just hunt, and ignore the rudeness. Only to find that night your camp has been messed with, or your truck now has multiple flat tires. Some guides and multiple helpers act has if they own the entire unit because they have a client.

Sadly it probably won't happen because they are switching refrigerants this year and the cost of equipment is going up 15-25%. Thank the EPA and the Govt for causing more inflation based on climate change... The refrigerant transitions have already started for many brands for certain products, but 12/31/24 is the last legal day to produce R410a equipment.

Hunter came and repaired my 2009 Duramax. Needed new Fuel Pressure Regulator and a couple cracked fuel lines replaced. Showed up on time with scheduled appointment and did a great job. Not easy part to get to on the Duramax but he definitely knew what he was doing. And he saved me a tow bill by coming to me. Thanks again to Hunter

I had Hunter come out to my place in Mesa. He diagnosed the problem with my DEF system. Had to order the part, which shipped from Michigan. He took care of the ordering and picking up. Came back out, got my truck running without codes. Truck was only down for a week. Very nice guy. Good communication. Knowledgeable mechanic. Likes to talk hunting. Thanks Hunter. Still no codes 😁

I had Hunter come out and work on my 2015 ram 2500, he came out quick and diagnosed the problems. He has since been out a couple times to do some work for me and he is very knowledgeable and also reliable. He is a great tech and I wouldn't bother calling anyone else for my truck. Thanks Hunter for everything brotha.
