First time I’ve ever heard someone bashing someone else for maintaining at shorter intervals. 😂

Does changing your oil too often hurt the vehicle? Asking for a friend?

Someone explain what? If he’s old school minded and indeed doing maintenance sooner than recommended, that’s a truck I want to own!

Questions no one understand like paying 16k for a 20 year old mini truck?

You wrote “what else is he screwing up on the maintenance of this vehicle” You implied he was screwing up the oil changes bc he changed it every 3k. How is he screwing that up ?

We’re having one now, trying to figure out why you don’t like preventive maintenance

Update: we had a great time catching small bass and sunfish with worms and meal worms 1’ under bobbers near the ramp. Everywhere else the grass extends 20’ beyond the bank making it tough for the little ones. Good time, will go back.

Too worried about that oil for his road hunting trip “certified road hunter”
  19. 1 point
Exactly- well maintained shed hunter probably takes his vehicles to cobblestone for an oil change

If you’re serious give me a call and we can talk about the truck. I have other members that can vouch for the condition and how well this truck was taken care of. 221k on the odometer, thought I had included that.

We ended up switching to the Aztec at the last minute. 1.5 day on July 1st. Made a few stops in the middle of the night and two tuna were caught on knife jigs. ~50lbs and 80lbs. Day bite was great and had our bft limit by 11am. Mostly fly lining sardines on light tackle ~ 25lb leaders. All these fish were in the 25-35lb range. The captain said we had enough time to make a run to San Clemente for “limits of calico bass a chance at yellowtail, and then fish for white sea bass after dark until midnight”. We got there around 5pm and parked next to some kelp. Around a dozen calico were quickly caught. Instead of moving, we continued to sit there until 9:30pm feeding our bait to sea lions. Then they packed up and headed for San Diego at idle speed to kill time. I’m not sure why they would take the time and expense to drive all the way to San Clemente and then not put any effort into catching fish. Overall I thought the captain and crew were good. I caught my 2 bft limit on my first trip out so no complaints! The sashimi has been amazing!

9mo later (yes, Troy/Authentic Taxidermy in Chino Valley completed under 9mo!) turned out an absolute picture perfect bugle mount. So happy. I thought this web site’s members would like to see the finished product (except Coues247, who wouldn’t shoot anything under 300” and forgot the pleasure of hunting less than a B&C score 😂 ) I don’t know what this guy measures, don’t really care. We are happy with the take.

going down memory lane here. This is from 2006

No. It means that only 4200 of the of the tags are not eligible to resident hunters. Every resident has the ability to wait until they’re in the max point pool so they are “eligible”. If you guys wanna do something to better your draw odds, eliminate point guard, point averaging and gifted tags to kids. That would free up WAY more then 4200 tags with the stroke of a pen.

IMG_5848.MOV If you want to see some desert sheep up close in person go to Boulder City Nevada May threw September the bighorns hangout in hemenway vally park every day. I have seen as many as 75 at one time there. This helped me as you can see all age class up close. Just a short drive from there is the muddy mountains unit 268 Nevada where the largest population of Desert sheep live. My brother had that tag in 2010 the biologist told me there were 1600 sheep their. I have been on this hunts four times now and have seen over 40 rams in a single day there when I had the tag. Go to Vegas for a weekend Evan just to see the park rams it will help you judge. IMG_6409.MOV You need to look at all angles sheep hunting if score is your thing. They always look bigger from the back front and side view most important to see. my brother was hung up on score he wanted a 170 plus ram and got one, but said if he had to do it again he would take a prettier ram that wasn’t so broomed off longest is only 32.5 but lots of mass last quarter is over ten inches!
