2 pointsIf you haven't hunt coues deer before that means you have never glass for the grey ghost. You will need to learn how to glass because I guarantee you, you'll be looking at deer without knowing you are looking at deer. If you do not have 15's then your 10's will do. No rut activity or very minimun. Glass, glass, and glass some more. Get comfortable and keep glassing. If I were you I'' hunt the whole season. Good luck.

1 pointShoot the first buck you see over 105”? How many have you killed over that? Basically telling an out-of-stater who has probably never hunted coues to hold out for a booner? Lol. 33 is a good unit, but has been decimated by fires and tag numbers for years. I don’t know much about it but it will be a pretty good hunt. Have a good time, take your time and shoot whatever TF you want to shoot.

1 pointLast Wednesday, my boy and I got the invite from my buddy Lance to head to Patty. My boy caught his first Az bass and the biggest one of the day. Watching him fight the 2#er on the ultralight was awesome! He also hooked this GIANT bluegill, which is about as big as they come down here. This PB is likely to stand for ever. I dont think Ive ever caught one even close to the size of this one.

1 pointPicked up a Christensen Ridgeline FFT a few months ago. Shooting factory ammo (Hornaday Match 180 ELD-M) and have been very pleased with it. Through the chrono I’m getting 2860 fps and have been getting 1/2 MOA 5 shot groups at 100 and 200. Have only shot at rocks at longer distances so far but hitting what I’m aiming at out to 700.

1 pointThe hunt was tuff hunt could have killed a meat buck everyday had one shot at nice 4x4 but passed so kid could shoot it and he shot just a little low but we did see a giant one mile away working away from us just such a nice thing to experience only wish it would of worked in our favor but did not .
