Last year on my Colorado trip I caught a 26" 10 lb brown trout on the fly, I went back this year thinking I would end up disappointed and never top that fish... but God is good! caught this almost identical 26" 10 lb Rainbow on the fly, 100 ft from where I caught the big brown last year! I need to give full credit to my nephew who is a fly fishing guide in Colorado. If any of you are looking for a great guide and trip, message me and I'll get you in touch with him.

There are very few elk by Clay Springs right now... Ask me how I know? Most of the tanks are dry. I'm doing my best to grow something to keep them close. IMG_6308.mov

I have a friend in Payson who has a parking pad for RV storage right off the Beeline, .. 11’x19’ Concrete slab but with the dirt forward of the slab it can handle a 44’ trailer. With an additional 17 feet to the street. She is on the property full-time and is located close the the Maverick gas station. The cross-roads are Forest and Easy Street. She can put your batteries on trickle charger, if you provide the charger. She can fill your water tank, prior to your trip. Safe location, firewood, is also available and can be provided if there is no fire ban. This is located in Payson Az. Please message me with questions and your contact info and I can forward your information to her. $100/mo for trailer space rent $10 a month for electric on trickle charger you provide the charger $10 for water, will fill at house if you give advanced notice $25 for fire wood per wheelbarrow

I’m selling for an older friend who isn’t internet savvy. Krieger barrel chambered in 28 Nosler. 1:8 twist sendero contour with deep flutes and a vias brake. You will need to have this installed by a gunsmith it was on a trued rem 700 that did not have the threads opened up just the face squared. I attached some groups and you can see the notes. My friend is getting older and the 28 kicks like a mule and he doesn’t want it anymore. I have dies as well if needed.

Once again, the roaches only come back out when UA loses. Cannot even have comebacks about their own team because they are so bad. If UA lost in the final game of the CWS, these roaches would be quiet until that day then jump on the bandwagon and talk about how they were right and UA sucks. Nevermind the fact their school did not even get into the tourney.

I had 3C Sept 2023 success. You can read my post Sept 28, 2023 for some good insight… less than 9mo old. I would absolutely hunt this area again, but I wouldn’t concentrate on the Rez bulls as much as calling/spot/stalk in the middle of 3C. I didn't see a single elk in 3A. Horses everywhere, eating everything. Second week of the hunt, when the bulls finally came in to the calling—was off the chart. Just my observation, but I never saw bull elk near the horses. Just like any public hunting… get away from the roads, get away from people, spend more hours each day hunting than the other guy. Enjoy the hunt, however it turns out!

Hard to win any games when the team is sitting on the couch eating Cheetos, watching the other teams play.
