If anyone is interested is supporting a local charity and have a good chance at winning a 1974 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. All money goes to New Pathways for Youth AZ https://npfy.org/ This is all through a charity group called Arizona Trout Camp that I am apart of that helps raise money for New Pathways. Last year we Donated 60K to NPFY and this year we plan to write them a check for 100K if all goes as planned. There are 300 $100.00 tickets being sold for this Toyota FJ we plan on raffling off at our event this year on June 7th or 8th. The raffle will most likely be live streamed. Winner does NOT have to be present to win. You can click the link below to buy tickets. https://registration.aztroutcamp.com/raffle/ -Tanner

Just thought I would share how we cook our turkey. I've tried crock pot, pucking and smoking the entire bird and this has been our favorite. With 5 young kids there are no left overs with Uncle bucks fry mix from Bass pro.

My wife and I have the Goulds tag in 29 starting this Friday. I helped a friend on this hunt last year. We saw plenty of birds and had an amazing hunt. Were both hoping to get our birds with our bows, fingers crossed! Good luck on your hunt!

-Top gun is a 1965 model 336 Marlin 30-30. Great gun, smooth as butter. Has a little normal wear that makes it look and feel like an awesome authentic American classic. $700 -Second rifle is an aero precision ultra light weight upper receiver with a chrome lined Aero BCG. It has an sig Romeo red dot on it. Lower receiver is a KE arms polymer lower. Those things are made here in Phoenix and are supposed to be the only legit polymer lowers on the market. Total gun with a full mag weighs 5.1 pounds. $600 -Third rifle is a Sun Devil manufacturing AR15 I had Dave Beaty (Owner of Sun Devil manufacturing located in Mesa) build me for predator calling, it’s a tack driver and is is pretty light weight. Topped with a Leupold VX3I. $900 -Fourth rifle is a new marlin by Ruger model 1896 45-70 gov. Topped with a Steiner 1-5 power. I have only sighted in this gun, other than that it has been a safe queen. $2,100 -Fifth and bottom rifle is a sigm400 topped with a Holson HS510C & flip up magnifier (as shown in the individual picture as the group picture it is bare without the optics that actually come with it.) $900 -Last is an Sig p365x Cary gun. Comes with a kidex holster for concealed carry and this HS507K red dot with co-witnessing tritium night sights. I think I have like 3-4 mags for it. It also has an aftermarket faxon threaded barrel on it. It comes with the original black factory barrel also. $600 Face to face only. Located in Queen Creek. Cut into strips, then we had a medium bowl where my wife put some milk and eggs in where we dipped the strips in so the dry batter would adhere to it . From there we had another bowl where we dropped the strips in the dry batter, then straight to the oil. We went off the directions on the Uncle Bucks fry mix. Not going to lie, this has been awesome for us. They also make a regular chicken fry mix, not hot and spicy. We like the Hot and Spicy, has a really good kick at the end.

IMG_4145.mov I was able to take my first Arizona goulds turkey a couple weeks ago with the help of my buddy Christian. He had hunted this unit last year and had a good idea where we needed to go and it did not take long.

I think it was a raffle or gov tag if I’m not mistaken. He always seems to have all the cool tags like that.

Solo hunt. Had no one to take my picture. Like you said real quiet this morning, came running in silent. One shot from my son's 20 gauge did the trick.
