I see a mix of brass all with the same bullet. I don't think Remington or Winchester ever made a plus "P" semi-wad cutter. Still a solid deal, though not something I would shoot through an antique or prized revolver.

"Super Beetle" had a curved windshield. I can't tell from the pic but the 69' and up had better rear suspension for catching air on gas line roads. I owned 2 63's (one chopped to a Baja) and a 65' back in the day. Fun and cheap to work on. Funny story. My 63' was my daily driver in high school. I had 2 jobs at the time as well. I had a "gathering" at my folks house one night when they were out of town and one of my friends took my bug to resupply libations. When he brought it back, he said it was stuck in second gear. I tried everything to pop it out of second and it wasn't happening. I had to be to work at 4 AM the next day. There happened to be a friend at this gathering who had a 63' "Baja" with a bad motor. I didn't have the all of cash he wanted but he said he would give me the car and hold the title until I paid in full. That was good enough for me. We hitched my dad's homemade dolly to my stepmoms 79' T-bird and went to his house. It was knocking like heck and actually split the case on the motor and puked all of the oil when we pulled it onto the dolley. Me and my best pal swapped the motor and license plate from my car that night and I drove it to work the next day. I even got pulled over a few days later because the Baja was lacking mirrors. I handed the cop my registration from the other car and he wrote me a fix it ticket and sent me on my way! Simpler times for sure.

Your configuration is more the reason than cartridge.

I'm going to regret doing it but I am going to sell my 300 WM bc I am looking to fund another project. I bought this off my buddy. He bought it new and put probably 200-300 rds through it, I bought it and have put no more than 100-200 rds through it. This thing has shot every round I have put through it very well. I have been using the Hornady rounds pictured most recently and it shoots them incredibly well. I am selling everything you see pictured for $1500. I would be willing to take the scope & rail off and sell the rifle and ammo for $1000. As far as the ammo goes there are 200 rds of the Hornady (both small green boxes & the 2 hornady boxes) The big green box is some Winchester shelf ammo + once fired brass. The blue box is a recipe my buddy was working on when I bought it which wasn't bad. I just liked the Hornady better because I didn't want to reload for this gun.

I have (had) a Caldwell chronograph, and I was out shooting today. I was in the process of squeezing the trigger when a gust of wind blew the chronograph, turning it just right so when the round went off, I center punched the rod that holds the sunshade. I tried to order a new one, but they are not available at this time. I was wondering if anyone happened to have a broken Caldwell sitting around that I could buy for parts?

No offense meant, but that is almost certainly a 1973 or later based on the taillights. I had a '68 Bug and a '74 Sun Bug and those taillights are from the mid 70's Bug. GLWS, Eddie

No disrespect but I'm not sure the cartridge is the issue. Not many buyers want a bare used rifle right near the cost of a new one or to be forced into a package-only deal that includes substantial factory ammo and reloading components, most want one or the other. OP, I would steer clear of the 6.5x284 in the short action, picking whichever cartridge that fits your purpose (i.e. bullet) and not worry about resale yet. Good luck!

Its way easier to use compared to the Magnetospeed and the chronoy's and the data stores to your phone. the tradeoff is the price though.

Garmin are awesome. Super easy to use just a few buttons and set it on the shooting bench.
