I have up for sale a T/C Encore with two pistol barrels. One in 243 win and the other 260 REM. The barrel on the frame is 243 with a Burris 3x12 pistol scope. Rifle barrel is 204 ruger. Included is two wood stocks and forearm. Have 204 dies and some ammo. $1200 obo. May consider trades.

We went out a few weekends ago; didnt find any bears but did help a couple older guys get a sxs out that they had rolled the night before. I think that day we were meant to be out there to help them rather than find a bear. They’d have been there well through the night without some additional help.

ATI had a problem with the lowers cracking at the rear pin. There have been reports of some uppers cracking. I personally have a problem with a plastic/polymer upper with all of the movement and pressures. Billets stretch and forged have greater strength, but can fragment. Plastic/polymer? I'm not sure I want to know.🤣 I'm glad you have not had any issues, but the prices are about $50 to $100 dollars difference and the longevity I believe definitely goes to aluminum, as well as flexibility in customization and possibly safety. IMO of course. But I could be wrong.

I have owned several polymer lowers and never had an issue. Its good to know what you are buying for sure.

I’m looking to sell my toyhauler in order to upgrade to a larger on. This unit has wear and tear but functions perfectly. Generator has 475 hours on it and runs perfectly, last service was done a month ago. Has 2 queen beds in the back and the sofa and seats collapse down to sleep 2 more. I can fit my Can-Am Defender Max HD10 4 seater in this unit, tight but fits. I will throw in the weight distribution hitch and anti-sway bar as well. My house has had 3 tags in 35A/B and we went and did the surveys every time. I don't know if they still do it the same way but when we did the survey the fort Huachuca chapter provided dinner on Saturday night. We were also able to sit down and look at all the survey data from the routes they check. Really good people from that chapter and very helpful.

Kev I hope your friend is successful with his new shop. Always good to have a choice in where to buy shooting stuff. However, Sierra Vista could do a better job of supporting the existing stores if we had a decent place to shoot. There are thousands of gun owners in this town, and they seem to buy stuff. But then they go out to Dry Canyon or the pit, and risk getting in an argument or having some idiot shooting over their head. Guys have told me they won't go out there by themselves. This is a result of the public shooting range being horribly mismanaged, and mostly a basket case for years. Game and Fish knows about it, but won't do anything. So basically, unless locals want to register their guns on the Army base (I do not), we have nowhere to shoot. If the new gun store owner is serious about staying in business, maybe he or she can launch an effort to recall and replace the current officers and board of directors of the S.V. shooting range. I can pretty much guarantee there will be a lot of support.

But I get your point. If so many people are willing to pay so much, then it must be acceptable to them. But you may be overlooking panic buying as part of the reason. So far I have been able to avoid ever patronizing Bruno's, and I intend to continue to avoid it because I don't agree with what I understand his business model to be.

It would be nice if people could wait, but I disagree on where the greed is by the very definition of greed. I bend over backwards to avoid dealing with greedy businesses and greedy people. What of the guy that winds up short on ammo and has a hunt coming up? Great people step in and try to help, greedy people try to bend him over. Remember the Black Horn 209 shortage. Many of us tried to work together, not maximize our profit and pillage others at their expense. There is a saying, " Nobody likes a pig, but HOGS get slaughtered". We have lots of freedoms in this country but how we exercise those freedoms defined our characters. It's not how much you're worth that matters, but what your name and honor are worth. This Country was founded on the principles of there being a God. The more of us that live our lives within those principles, whichever goodly God you believe in, the better off we will all be. Love thy God with all of your heart, might, mind, and strength. Love thy neighbor as thyself. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Etc.
