So recently I have posted several guns that I don't get much use from, and have become frustrated with members chastising me for selling my gun to a person who did what they said they were going to do and giving me my price for the gun. I was accused of being "Craigslistesh" because the prospective buyer wondered if I ever "get up this way", or guys asking me to come from the far west valley to make it easier on them to make a purchase. Sorry, but no. I once drove to Tucson to buy a gun that a member had for sale and I paid his price, because I wanted that gun. I didn't ask for anything from him! I sold my gun to the first person that arrived with cash. Get over it. To me, it doesn't matter what place "in line" you are. I joined this site nearly 15 years ago to learn about hunting and fishing in Arizona. Now it is mostly a classified ads anyway, so I am sorry that some might be sore at me. Stepped off soapbox

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on this. They discontinued the EVO which is a shame, but this place has them for a steal of a price on closeout. If you want a light and cheap hunting Can this is a great deal. https://freedom-weapons.com/silencerco-harvester-evo-300-30-caliber-7-62mm/ I already have 2, one for each of my son's hunting rifles. I had wanted 1 for myself, but resisted til I saw this deal. Hope this may help someone jump into suppressors or get a good deal on another. Harley

I’m running a 6” bow finger out front with an 8” bow finger out back. It’s made a world of difference in acquiring my target faster, and has cut my pin floating in half or more. I’m running a Mathew’s halon 6. Just put a new string on last month. Mathew’s makes a great bow. I have all the confidence I need with this old bow. I’ve killed a deer and a bull with it. Hopefully I get another one this September.

I've encountered some real flakes buying/selling on CW. Still not as bad as Craigslist.

Sometimes it's just worth mentioning in the post that tire kickers don't get dibs. If you set your expectations very clearly that's harder for somebody to have something to b**** about.

I'll take it or I'll buy it should be the sale. If any other post has questions or wants a pm, then they are negotiating and that's all good, but maybe a day late and a dollar short.

They’ve done this for atleast one year, may even be two years now. I think twice a year they do it. They’ve changed up the dates and the units a bit but the idea has been around a couple years

I can empathize with deercrazy's experience. Although it's true that its not difficult to say "no", it should also not be difficult to hear "no." I've had the "I can come look at it a week from Tuesday" (which is not an acceptance of the offer and is really only an offer to kick the tires which is often followed by an offer significantly lower than the offered price). To which I respond "Okay, I'll let you know if it sells before then." Then, when I sell to a person who unambiguously accepts the offer to sell at the offered price by saying "I'll take it.", I inform the tire-kicker that the item has sold and instead of hearing "Cool, thanks for letting me know.", the person grouses (sometimes to the point of chastising) because because they perceived that they had the right of first refusal. To me, however, they already exercised that right when they refused the offer by not accepting it and instead merely offered to potentially engage in future negotiations. I understand it's the nature of the business and we should have thick skin but being righteously indignant is fun and free. Sometimes that's all we have in this world. 🤣

My wife does all kinds of meals like this. Way way better than the commercial meals they sell. Doesn’t give you the trouser chilies near as bad either.

Gardening is really easy and doesn’t take much of your time, if you invest in good soil. The problem is by the time buy lot of good soil, you could have bough the entire produce section twice the other thing about your time and gardening is when you get a nice garden you’ll find time to tend to it

My wife and youngest son were able to complete their field day today in Flagstaff. Heard the class was great and nice new hats were given out at the end. Thanks again Brian and company!

Sweet you got one! Let's be friends. I wanna borrow that. That's a great idea for the kiddo. Seriously though I want one but we need to learn canning first. Maybe once I get really good at gardening. Wish I had more time for the fun stuff.

You can freeze dry raw eggs. Crack them in a bowl, whisk them together, pour into trays and freeze dry. When done put in a food processor and pulverize them into a powder and store. 2 tbsp of egg powder equals 1 egg. Rehydrate at equal parts egg/water. For instance if you wanted a 3 egg omelette, put 6 tbsp of powder and 6 tbsp of water in a bowl. It will turn back into a regular looking egg and you wouldn’t even know its freeze dried. Then cook it.
