Rough day.
The man whom taught me to hunt, fish, never whine and by example; how to honor the women in my life, passed 5 years ago today.
He was old school, tough, unapologetic and worked hard for the family. 92 years young, WWII vet and still sharp as a tack. I think he had a pretty good run
Yeah he was pretty awesome. Fought through Europe and made through the Battle of Bulge! He was an Army brat and lived all over. He was Hawaii in the early 30’s and southern Az in the later 30’s.
Realized i never posted this. Nothing too fancy, just a jake but FINALLY my first turkey. Walked up the hill to us calling, all while gobbling his assss off. Had to lean around a tree for the 45 yard shot and sent him tumbling down the hill.
Had other toms around us so forgot the field photos as we continued to hunt. Had my son with me and he took the photos.
He loves to carry a safe and empty weapon for dad.... And I don't hate it!
Heading up fishing with my dad this weekend, has always been my hero, although I normally can get a few more fish in the box! I cherish every minute with my dad! Thank you for the reminder post to take advantage of every minute.
Taking my 82 year old father up to Horseshoe Cenica Thursday and Friday. And again in 2 weeks. We talk about it all the time. Thoughts are with you Godbless
Oakley Radar Path glasses. Comes with an orange lense for daylight and a clear lense for night shooting. Comes with everything pictured. Few small nicks out of sight on the right side of orange lense down at the bottom from a few bbs over time. Asking $100. Add $10 for shipping.
These are from when I was on the ASU shotgun team back in college hence the colors. They do sell different lense colors. Just don't shoot enough anymore to justify getting prescription lenses made for them for myself.

He is house trained. He can walk on a leash tolerably well. Knows sit and stay. He's had all his shots. Healthy. Beautiful coat of fur. Lots of energy in the morning and late afternoon. Needs to be exercised. Loves the dog park and chasing balls. Very food driven. He’s a 1-yr old black lab. Lively, affectionate, and friendly with people and other dogs. Free.
My buddy died in a motorcycle accident and his wife cant handle the responsibility of a young dog. Located in Scottsdale / North Phoenix
Doing a pork shoulder in the crock pot for some pulled pork . The shoulder is from the pig I shot in California . Doing the Dr pepper thing . Seasoned it good last night and put it in the fridge. 7 or 8 hours and we will see.
The fastest land animal in the planet is the Cheetah! The 2nd fastest is the prong horn antelope. But I heard that even those two are no match for diarrhea! 🤷♂️
I would counter and say that there’s always more people there bidding then the winner. You might be surprised how many people are there that are watching to see if it sells for less then expected. I’ve sat in on several banquets with hopes of getting a tag for a little less than I expected it to go (which would be out of my budget). I would also argue that watching those tags sell is a major draw in those banquets. It’s not gonna be a 50% drop but it’s gonna be a drop in attendance for sure.
I agree with the hurting the guides. This could be one of the unsaid motives. If I can go awhile without running into 30 guides/helpers chasing and keeping an eye on one elk, I would be thrilled.
I care which doesn't matter, the rich get the auction tags and the guides who block off roads and have 30 none hunting gumbies on every point . I have 28 points for antilope and 25 for Bighorn and will probably never get drawn, but being I'm poor I will keep trying and buying raffle tags I know ill never win. And you really think this money goes to the animals , I say it goes to administration and lawsuits. So in my opinion only Jimmy John and Gallo can donate the money if they love the animals that much, and put in like the rest of us. On that now bring the HATE. Im ready
All he does is ridicule the classified ads. He has no intention of buying or selling anything of value. His sole purpose on this forum is to belittle, “correct”, and add his 2 cents to classified ads.
I have a 2000 I bought new that has 323K or there abouts since I haven't run the stock size tires since the factory set got replaced at 30K. Saying "Don’t need to sell so please don’t waste my time" is a huge turnoff.
You seem fairly young, maybe that's a generational thing saying that as I seen it said by guys in their early 20's. But, it is a nice looking truck though you're quite a bit high at that price but it's a good starting point. GLWS.
