Imagine next years auction tag prices! I'm betting they will be even higher since it will be the last year.

He is alive and well. I parted ways with Gary last year but worked for him for 18 years. 41 gnr is a great round and Gary's personal favorite. I've seen him take many animals with a revolver in 41 gnr.

Agreed, if I had the spare cash I'd already own these. Non HD swaros sell for more then this and these are superior imo. I wouldn't go any lower then the current price at op.

The organizations don't get a penny for auctioning/raffling off the tags. All the money goes to Game and Fish, who can then fund various projects with it. As far as attendance at the banquets potentially being down and decreasing the funds raised for any particular organization, the majority of the raffle tags are purchased by a guide that attends solely for the purpose of buying the tag on behalf of one of his rich clients. With a few exceptions, the guide wasn't typically there to participate in the banquet or spend much other money that would then help the fundraising efforts of the organization. Eliminating the auction tag sale at a banquet will likely only remove one or two attendees from any particular banquet, and they weren't going to spend money on anything else anyway.

This is a matching serial number set. New in box never loaded or fired. I do not have the sleeves for either box. There are no marks, blemishes or knicks in the wood or finish on either gun. Not interested in splitting up the pair. $6900 shipped and insured FFL to FFL. I also have an 1896 teddy Roosevelt 150th anniversary high grade set chambered in 405win. It’s also a matching serial number set withbrand new in box with both sleeves. $6500 for that set. not really looking for trades at the moment. These are on my dads FFL in Prescott valley AZ. Will need to be shipped or hand delivered to your dealer as he does not do in person sales. Can be seen in person in Prescott valley.

Then you'll hear people saying that taking more tags away for raffles is a money grab. I asked on a g&f post about those raffle tags if the money went to the HPC fund and I didnt get an answer. The mule deer tag just auctioned off for $625k. That is going to take a lot of raffle tickets to make up for that.

Due to conflicts, it is scheduled for June 8 this year. I believe it will be at the same hotel in Mesa that it has been the last few years. Their Webmaster has had health issues, so it has unfortunately been difficult to post website updates currently.

I used to think 2k was nuts till I got the SLC’s. From what I’ve seen online, this is a no brainer for 2k. Wish I could… GLWS

Haha. I think my telling of the story may have come across a little more intense than I meant. I was more shook after the fact just thinking how quickly things can go bad and how lucky it wasn't a time sensitive injury like blood loss or something. After the first few minutes, he was fine pain wise as long as he didn't try and walk. We weren't under a time crunch and had plenty of daylight. We sat, drank some water and came up with a plan. I headed back to the gator at an easy pace as to not hurt myself with no intention of hunting and only shot the javelina because I was in view of the side by side when I came across it. The whole thing didn't add more than a minute or 2 of getting back to my friend. I guess the shot echoed down the canyon and his first words when I got back were "tell me that was your shot". We are still friends.

I’m ok with it. Guides and outfitters are the ones crying about it because they’ll lose a lot of money. Raffle hunters aren’t going to pay 100k in guide fees. Most of the people screaming about it on social media are people that have a monetary interest in auction tags. Bump up application fees a couple bucks and eartag that money for conservation of that species and it’ll more than cover the lost revenue of the auction tags.

I care which doesn't matter, the rich get the auction tags and the guides who block off roads and have 30 none hunting gumbies on every point . I have 28 points for antilope and 25 for Bighorn and will probably never get drawn, but being I'm poor I will keep trying and buying raffle tags I know ill never win. And you really think this money goes to the animals , I say it goes to administration and lawsuits. So in my opinion only Jimmy John and Gallo can donate the money if they love the animals that much, and put in like the rest of us. On that now bring the HATE. Im ready

the bite was good today, caught most of them between 5' - 8' deep. water temp was 62° at noon. seems like the girls are moving up looking for place to bed. The lake was packed today (Tuesday) with bass boats. I guess the word is out that the bite is on. water visibility middle lake was 12 ft., in the Salt end it was more like 7 ft.
