The organizations don't get a penny for auctioning/raffling off the tags. All the money goes to Game and Fish, who can then fund various projects with it. As far as attendance at the banquets potentially being down and decreasing the funds raised for any particular organization, the majority of the raffle tags are purchased by a guide that attends solely for the purpose of buying the tag on behalf of one of his rich clients. With a few exceptions, the guide wasn't typically there to participate in the banquet or spend much other money that would then help the fundraising efforts of the organization. Eliminating the auction tag sale at a banquet will likely only remove one or two attendees from any particular banquet, and they weren't going to spend money on anything else anyway.

Timney trigger, has upgraded metal floor plate, pic rail, front and rear sight removed and welded, have the original wood stock, Boyds stock has been bedded at the lug. Asking $1,000, now $70. Those are 40g and out of stock. I did 10 boxes of the 55g entered my address and this is what I got with tax and shipping. They don’t include free shipping on ammo and flammable. Still $2.52 cheaper per box. Thanks for all the comments I like being on top.

No need to dig, it’s a public process that involves all of the local non profit organizations that represent wildlife in AZ in conjuction with AZGFD people from all regions and units. All the speculation about where the money goes comes from people who don’t even understand how the process works and aren’t involved. Join a wildlife organization and have some input… https://www.azgfd.com/wildlife-conservation/on-the-ground-conservation/cooperative-programs/habitat-partnership-committee/

You should dig into this and see if you can get a public information request.

Is there public access to what exactly the funds have been spent on in the past?

At the end of the day if game and fish ends up losing a lot of money they will undo it and go back to how it was. I got mixed emotions on it personally. Although I don't love the idea of an amazing animal essentially being sold to the highest bidder I accept the reality knowing it goes towards conservation as a whole. It's a blade that cuts both ways I guess.

I care which doesn't matter, the rich get the auction tags and the guides who block off roads and have 30 none hunting gumbies on every point . I have 28 points for antilope and 25 for Bighorn and will probably never get drawn, but being I'm poor I will keep trying and buying raffle tags I know ill never win. And you really think this money goes to the animals , I say it goes to administration and lawsuits. So in my opinion only Jimmy John and Gallo can donate the money if they love the animals that much, and put in like the rest of us. On that now bring the HATE. Im ready

Who care who’s buy them, if I had the money they’d all get bought by the same person every year

The commission could care less about the opinions of hunters, they have shown that over and over again. They only listen to people and organization with deep pockets and the anti hunting community.

I really like the triclawps for its versatility. I used it for many years and still use one for certain situations. Over the past year I have converted most everything to arca swiss rails, heads and clamps. Lighter, faster and more stable. I can go from binos to rifle to camera etc in seconds. There are also a few shooting systems out that use arca swiss and/or picatinny rails to mount directly to a ball type head for an incredibly stable platform. we used this from field optics research on my sons first deer hunt. BIG fan of the system.
