No way I could part with one of my labs if I’d had him for ten years….Id get rid of my other dogs first. Looks like he’s just getting old and cranky like a lot of us. Pics,of my old guy pushing 14, and his psycho side kick cattle dog that’s under my recliner..

Hey guys, January was really good this year. I was able to see a lot of animals and was able to go on plenty of stalks. with that being said, I also got my butt kicked plenty of times. With January winding down. I found myself on the 27th looking at this deer in his bed in a really good area to approach him not being a fan of hunting in August in September I decided that I would be super happy with this buck if I was lucky enough to close the distance and get an arrow in him. With the conditions that day being super windy, it helped a lot with my stalk and I was able to get into a comfortable distance and get a shot on this buck when he got out of his bed. It all worked out and I was very happy with this buck and the stalk that I put on him.

If you don’t have any luck here have him try Southwest Oasis Labrador Rescue. Last year we got our 7 year old thru them. He’s a nice looking boy

Savage Ultralite 6.5 Creedmoor. Bought this from another forum member about a year ago. Shoots great. 22” barrel. I bought the same rifle in 6.5prc, keeping the prc and selling the creedmoor so it doesn’t just sit in the safe. I do not have the box but I do have the adjustable stock pieces. Rifle, 30mm rings, muzzle brake and 3 boxes of 143 ELDX - $1,300 drop to $1,100 Rifle only - $1,100 drop to $900 north phx Andy 602-881-0610

SOLD: $4400 comes with custom soft case Selling my Kowa 77s dual spotters on an Adams Adapters bracket. Scopes bodies and glass in perfect condition. This set up is so nice to look through. Crystal clear clarity and field of view is better compared to the kowa 66s and swaro 65s. DM me with any questions. Thanks, Gabriel

Southern Xpress is building mine. I doubt you could go wrong with any of the folks that have been referenced here. I'm sure they all do good work with all the folks piling on each builder.

Colby had 3 bps going into this draw and drew tag #1 for his multi unit hunt. This week we double checked the rifle and shooting strategies and started putting gear together. I let him choose where he wanted to start opening day, he picked the farthest unit and the farthest part away from home. This morning we left the house, made a lucky superstitious stop at a gas station for his doughnuts and hit the road. When we got to the first glassing spot, we couldn’t see crap. The fog was pretty good this morning. We spent 45 minutes watching funny videos and listening to music while the sun killed the fog. We glassed for an hour, didn’t see any pigs moving but coues were in full rut. We moved to our second glassing spot. After a while we got lucky and spotted pigs below us 300 yards away feeding in the oaks. We grabbed our gear and when we got to 220 yards, Colby said he can make the shot. I’d like him to get 150 or so but he was confident. We got the rifle set up and he got on the larger boar right away. After a few practice squeezes he felt ready and let the rifle bark. The pig hit the ground hard on the quartering to shot (messy gutting job). This boar had some age and stink to him. We took our time, cleaned the pig and took pictures. We picked up some roadside burritos and hit the road on the way home.

Todd South at Southern Xpress Custom Rifles has done all of my work. And every gun he built that I've hunted with has been deadly accurate. Highest quality I've seen. He's in Mesa a couple of miles East of Bass Pro. And he's very reasonable as well.

I have a friend that just started guiding with ground pounders, he's absolutely a great guy. Him just being on their team tells me they must have it together.

The huge majority of outfitters are garbage and everyone knows it. That being said, that is the only negative thing i’ve heard about azgp. I’d take it with a grain of salt. Someone is pissy they ate a tag. Archery hunts are tough

Last year I hired a guide for a rifle Elk hunt. First time for me. Reason was I was tired of being a solo hunter when I killed an Elk. I needed help with the pack out. My guides were young enough to be my grandkids.

Ask the guy that wrote that on bowsite about the 400” bull he had drawn back on at 48yds and why he didn’t shoot it. You can’t shoot them for the clients.

Hey all, I have a buddy who is trying to rehome a 10 year old, male, black lab. Bentley is great with humans (adults and kids), but is becoming more agressive with other dogs. My buddy feels he should be in a home where he is the only dog. Buddy can no longer keep him, and is looking to rehome him. House trained and good manners. Just not getting along with other dogs, which is why he needs to rehome. LMK if you are interested and I can put you guys in contact to see if you can work something out. Comes with dog bed pictured and other dog stuff (leash, collars, more?). Thank you.
