Hi all, I'm excited to share about Field & Faith, where we mentor young men from fatherless homes which is a part of my own story. We're all about mentorship, building life skills, and teaching these young men what it means to be a steward of their communities and families. We do all this through the outdoors and getting them away from the chaos that is life. We take these guys hunting, fishing, and camping, teaching them valuable lessons through hands-on experience in the outdoors. Alot of the young men in our program are getting to catch their first and go on their first hunts and camping trips. We're focused on helping them start new, positive family legacies and breaking the cycle of fatherlessness is their families. As we expand our program this year, we're looking for more support in any form whether you know a kid that can use the help or if you want to support us other ways, we can always use the help. Interested in learning more check out our website fieldfaith.org, subscribe as we do raffles from time to time or reach out to me directly. Thanks, and glad to be a part of this hunting and fishing community! Luke Detraz Founder, Field & Faith

This is a MARLIN MODEL 336A with a 20"BARREL in 30-30 WIN. This rifle is in prestine condition as you can see by the pics. It is JM stamped on the barrel. You will be hard pressed to find a used one in this fine of condition. Will consider trade for new custom 700 footprint magnum .550 bolt face long action, 700 clone, or Taurus Raging hunter 460 S&W Magnum Two Tone 8.37 in...

Someone needs this barrel for their new rifle. And, 25 is where it’s at, especially the 133 Bergers, IMO. Or the speedy monos if that’s what you do. I think the 25 is the best compromise between bullet weight and velocity without any unnecessary recoil, especially for long range shooting. The benefit of reducing recoil helps with better precision out in the field and spotting shots. We have so much more information about these “smaller” bullets killing just effectively as the big 30 cal bullets. The big boomers make for many a miss “over the back” cause of recoil. My original 7mm SS hammer doesn’t get as much use as the 25 these days. I am basically matching ballistics with a shorter barrel and less recoil. And, I can’t tell a big difference between een the 180vld and the 133eh in the killing I have done.

I love 25 cal. I shoot a 257 weatherby shooting the 128gr Hammers at 3340. It is a 26" tube so it may not get suppressed.

I live with the same temptation… I have built three, but I think this last one will stick with me cause I got it sized right at 21” suppressed. Two of my buddies bought my other two cause they saw how they hammered and were easy to shoot. My 24” barrel was awesome for the speed, but shooting suppressed has made me go shorter. Anyone thinking about a 25 cal, the 133 are fantastic bullets with high BC and so easy to shoot. 25 creed, 25x284, or 25 SST/PRC, what’re your flavor gets you more velocity and higher BC than a 6.5 with the 140 class bullets. Ballistically they are hard to beat with the higher velocity and BC with a bullet that is only 7 grains lighter than the all around favorite 140 grain 6.5 bullets. free bump.

I’m not completely against the idea of the E tag but to me an “E” tag should be just that, totally electronic. I’m not sure how that happens? Maybe taking identifying pics and uploading to the app? I don’t know but this making our own tags out of whatever we have and affixing however seems like they don’t really care about the shenanigans that can happen in the field with tagged animals and more about saving money on postage and printing tags.
