A few years ago when I got to my tree stand there was another hunter sitting it, I told him it was my stand, and he said in AZ it's first come first serve, I told him that was fine, I'd go sit somewhere else. Before I left, I took all my tree steps going to the tree stand, he seemed upset. he was screaming something about first come when I walked away, I hope he got down ok.

I wouldn't use a blind or stand that wasn't mine anyway. If it ain't yours, don't touch it.

Assuming this is on public land I don’t like how this note is written. Anyone can legally hunt from that blind outfitter owned or not. Better to just say, “This blind belongs to TNT—we will have clients in-and-out of here from 12/15 -12/31. If you happen to kill anything over this water please share with us at at…(contact info)."

Not sitting in someone else's blind is kind of a given. I think the note attached to it is kind of a douche move.

I'd just set one up next to it and sit in it to piss them off.

Beautiful pistol and an awesome shooter. Just got one that’s threaded to shoot suppressed so I no longer need this one. $450. Comes as picture and with everything in the picture. Located at 101/Thunderbird. 602-989-0670. Small lines in finish where a rail once was as seen in pics. Still in great condition with only a few hundred rounds through it. Has loaded chamber indicator as well. 2 mags.

I don’t sit blinds but I might drop a deuce in there just because of the obnoxious sign. Ridiculous!

Agreed, wouldn't sit someone else's blind but they sure don't own the spot.

Be super nice if you could buy OTC tags online and have them show up on the app!

What if you made a nice brush blind pre season planning to sit. Someone else decided to sit it during the season, you walk in and tear it down while they’re sitting?

The MC312 uses a Benelli-style inertia-operated action, instead of the various gas systems which are more prevalent in today's shotgun market. This is from their website.

This is the correct answer. But if I had my heart set on sitting that spot and walked up to find a note like that. I’d still show up first and sit that spot if I wanted to on the exact dates they want to reserve

Been chasing deer in Arizona with my bow for more than half my life, never been able to connect until yesterday. My first coues in nearly 10 years. Very grateful to share the experience with my parents, couldn’t have gone any better - 48 yard shot, buck expired in sight. Already looking forward to doing it again January 1st!

I was always under the impression that your hunting permit is the permit to access state trust legally.

This is why it’s BS: Prior to 2022 ranchers in 3A and 4B banded together and started complaining about all the elk on the ranch lands north of the forest boundary. The hundreds of elk in the juniper country are eating them out of house and home. There is legitimacy to this, there are lots of elk in places they hadn’t been for several years. AZGFD responds by creating a bunch of new draw hunts starting in July and running through December in 2023. Success is pretty high. Game and fish also runs a BUNCH of pop man hunts which are also pretty successful. Not even halfway through 2022, before the draw hunts even start, the ranchers decide everything north of the forest boundary has to be OTC. They threaten to lock their gates and deny access to ALL hunters if their demand isn’t met. Sportsmen contest this but AZGFD concedes and converts everything to OTC starting in March 2023. Carlisle had already locked his gates due to a dispute over a AZGFD violation years before. He had at one time given A3 exclusive access, but that agreement is no longer in place. Elkins locked his gates and refuses hunters access to remove the elk. At some point Elkins sells exclusive access to Big Chino Outfitters who has a similar arrangement on a large ranch in western AZ. They advertise hunts for $8500+. So essentially, the ranchers used their ploy to get OTC tags as a Trojan horse to create land owner tags that they can sell to the highest bidder. The have unlimited supply and the most generous seasons in the state. This was never about elk eating grass or drinking water. This was always about ranchers maximizing their return on the public’s resource while simultaneously flipping the public the bird. That is why this is BS. Please write to AZGFD and ask them to discontinue the OTC Zeniff hunt area seasons until Elkins enters into a public access agreement.

Pack is practically brand new, no rips or stains. Currently downsizing my gear collection is the only reason I’m selling it. $500. Text 602-785-9010

I think I have shared this before but because of transposed numbers on a paper app back in 07 we ended up with tags in 36b. This was where I became very ......................... enlightened about the border issues even though I grew up 70 miles north of the border in New Mexico. These are pictures I took on that trip and incidentally because of the transposed numbers I google coues white tail in Arizona and began the long journey of reading great stories on CouesWhitetail.com.
