Here’s a few trips I’ve done recently. My first bobcat to the call, my first fox to the call and most recently a solo trip where I stacked 9 dogs in the bed of the truck. Great way to pass the time before otc archery rolls around

My son name is Dylan. He just graduated High School but is a motivated hard working guy. Hes 6 ft 210 strong guy. Several can vouch for him on here and hopefully they chime in. For the past 2 years while playing Baseball and school he started his own paver and turf business. Does good work but in AZ its hard to compete since so many people do it here, and people don't trust young kids. He also does monthly landscape if any of you guys interested. He's on the west side in Waddell/Surprise. The reason I'm posting is last night he said Dad, I need steady work. His skills are in what I mentioned above plus sprinklers, but he's willing to look into any field. He's young and I'm hoping some of you guys on here have a beginning position into something new. Could be electrical, mining, car sales, plumbing, farming, etc... Hoping to get him started in a career. If you guys have anything shoot me a message and I will put you in contact with him. He has a 4x4 truck to get to work. Thanks fellas. Some pics of his work and the deer pic is last weekend.

His work looks great in the pictures! I would push him to get his contractors license in landscaping or masonry & continue his skills. Will be a little tough at first, but it won’t take long to get his name out there.

Seems every year there is a need for rifles in calibers that the kids can shoot . If not for deer it's usually for elk. I'm in a position where I have several guns in various calibers that I could make available for a first come type loaner option. I was thinking around a 4 to 6 week borrow option. That would allow for proper time to dial in and get comfortable. It would be at no cost to borrow with the exception of ammo . Calibers I've got. Tc encore in 7-08 and 30-06 Savage axis new in 25-06 Savage 10t in 6.5 Creedmoor Remington 700 police in 223 for those who varmint hunt Ruger hawkeye in 308 Tikka m695 in 30-06 Ruger m77 mk11 in 300wm And a ruger in 338 wm for the bigger kids with elk tags. Ive also got muzzleloaders cva wolf 50 cal tc encore 50 cal and for the bigger kids a cva paramount pro in 45cal its got a anarchy break but is still stout to shoot. Most all have some sort of break with the exception of the 25-06 and the 223 scopes go from basic 3x9 to 4x14 depending. These are guns and are for hunting so if they get a rash it's not going to hurt my feelings as long as they are properly cared for. TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!!

Not too big deal to me, Like Chris here I've donated multiple guns and optics, hunting stuff as prizes for the youth hunts and such. I just wrote it off in the same vein. But I would caution lending anything you expect to get back. Buying and selling is a bit different, it's one and done. Kent

If anyone is able to break away from hunting, work or etc. the AZGFD Commission meeting is this Fri. at the Carefree Hwy. office. As a member of the public/concerned citizen, you can attend and be recognized at the podium for I believe 3 minutes by first filing out a speaker card. Ditto if you can get to one of the regional offices where they link in via skype or zoom. https://www.azgfd.com/about-arizona-game-fish/commission-public-information/about-the-commission/commission-schedule/ https://azgfd-portal-wordpress-pantheon.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/27121205/12.8.23_CommissionAgenda.pdf

That I can remember, I've loaned out shooting sticks, binoculars and an action wrench to youths and adult here, never got them back. Nothing I can't do without but I've never had anything returned. Kent

The offer would be to any member of cwt. I do understand the risk but I have yet to have any bad experiences with the people on this site. Of course I'd have to come up with a loan agreement which would state the gun caliber serial# and the duration it's to be used . A copy of a drivers license required. My guns are insured and if they manage to not be returned they would be reported to the local authorities . In the rare case they don't make it back the insurance will pay for the guns.
