I made this for my Dad out of a scrap pallet and His Dad's and My Grandpa's fishing lures.. This is a tree you don't want to get drunk and fall in. Merry Christmas to Everyone.

Here’s a few trips I’ve done recently. My first bobcat to the call, my first fox to the call and most recently a solo trip where I stacked 9 dogs in the bed of the truck. Great way to pass the time before otc archery rolls around

My son name is Dylan. He just graduated High School but is a motivated hard working guy. Hes 6 ft 210 strong guy. Several can vouch for him on here and hopefully they chime in. For the past 2 years while playing Baseball and school he started his own paver and turf business. Does good work but in AZ its hard to compete since so many people do it here, and people don't trust young kids. He also does monthly landscape if any of you guys interested. He's on the west side in Waddell/Surprise. The reason I'm posting is last night he said Dad, I need steady work. His skills are in what I mentioned above plus sprinklers, but he's willing to look into any field. He's young and I'm hoping some of you guys on here have a beginning position into something new. Could be electrical, mining, car sales, plumbing, farming, etc... Hoping to get him started in a career. If you guys have anything shoot me a message and I will put you in contact with him. He has a 4x4 truck to get to work. Thanks fellas. Some pics of his work and the deer pic is last weekend.

In today's sue happy environment the last thing I'd do is lend my gun to a kid. Regardless of good intentions. Sad it has to be that way but it is what it is.

Dumoullin action, Black walnut stock, Pac-Nor sent me a 1-10 twist CM barrel blank... No muzzle brakes for me either. My 340 weighs 9#s all up. I suspect the 9.3 will be similar. I do have a 338 Norma with a brake, it is a dedicated prone LR rifle. Purpose built for LR elk. I'm taking it hunting tomorrow 🤞

Are you offering this to people you know or just anyone? Theres lots of good people on here, but theres alot of not so trustworthy people on here as well. To much of a risk, but if you're a risk taker have at it.

I won the lottery this year and drew a late 12AW rifle tag. This fall has been a mess with a lot of family things going on, including my father in law having a stroke, so it’s been very touch and go season hunting wise. I knew going in I didn’t have the full season to hunt so I tried to keep my expectations reasonable. @buglethemin came through and made the trip up, giving up family time and spending thanksgiving in a tent. We saw some huge bucks scouting. Opening morning we saw some does where we had seen a monster buck with does the night before. The does were moving down a finger. We followed the does out, and saw a few smaller bucks and this guy in some oak thickets, but we didn’t get a real good look at him but could tell from the body he was big. They fed down the finger and down the slope to a draw to our right, then up the slope of the next finger. There was a clearing about 175 yards away and he stepped out and we got a better look at him. I decided he was the deer for me, and took the shot. He dropped, and I put another in to be sure. Just like that, the hunt was done. Could not be happier with this guy and can’t wait to go back some day.

I hunted this unit last year and got skunked. I had never seen it so bad since I started hunting it over 30 years ago. I put in for it again to challenge myself to find a good buck. I did find a 180 plus buck about 7 weeks ago and spent several weekends trying to relocate him, but had no luck. I changed locations and turned up this buck 3 weeks ago. I only got about 45 seconds of footage before he disappeared. I came back the next weekend and couldn’t turn him up. About ten days ago I found him again, and got about 30 seconds of video before he melted away into one of his hiding spots. Opening morning found me and my son looking for another buck I had found for him, but that deer didn’t want to cooperate. We hunted all day and only found several young deer. Saturday I decided to go searching for the big 3, but he never showed himself. On the hike out, I found several lion tracks and figured he had been killed or pushed. Sunday the wind was gusting 20-30 mph and most of the deer I found were bedded, and also 600 yards out with no chance to shoot with the cross winds. The wind blew hard all day and we just couldn’t find much moving. Monday morning started the same with the crazy winds, but we had a plan to relocate another tall 3x3 I had seen several times for my son. On our way to that spot, I said let’s go take a look for the other big 3 and just see if he is up and moving. We were glassing from a spot that didn’t really give me the angle needed to see into his normal feeding area, but I wanted to at least try. I turned up one doe in a small cut feeding away from us. We kept glassing the area over and thought for sure there is no way this buck would be out feeding. I glassed for a while and was getting ready to move on and decided to glass below me. Standing in the open feeding was this buck at only 225 yards. I had just looked over this spot five minutes earlier. He must have been down inside a deep cut where I couldn’t see him before. I put a 168 ELD-M right in the pocket and he spun and dropped about ten feet away. While we were packing him out, we hiked down the same wash that I had used a couple days earlier. There were more lion tracks on top of my boot tracks. We scouted this area for weeks and kept seeing lion tracks in the road, but we were never able to glass him up. Unfortunately we never found a good buck for my son to shoot, but it was a great hunt and had a great time hunting with my son. David

Seems every year there is a need for rifles in calibers that the kids can shoot . If not for deer it's usually for elk. I'm in a position where I have several guns in various calibers that I could make available for a first come type loaner option. I was thinking around a 4 to 6 week borrow option. That would allow for proper time to dial in and get comfortable. It would be at no cost to borrow with the exception of ammo . Calibers I've got. Tc encore in 7-08 and 30-06 Savage axis new in 25-06 Savage 10t in 6.5 Creedmoor Remington 700 police in 223 for those who varmint hunt Ruger hawkeye in 308 Tikka m695 in 30-06 Ruger m77 mk11 in 300wm And a ruger in 338 wm for the bigger kids with elk tags. Ive also got muzzleloaders cva wolf 50 cal tc encore 50 cal and for the bigger kids a cva paramount pro in 45cal its got a anarchy break but is still stout to shoot. Most all have some sort of break with the exception of the 25-06 and the 223 scopes go from basic 3x9 to 4x14 depending. These are guns and are for hunting so if they get a rash it's not going to hurt my feelings as long as they are properly cared for. TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!!

I've got at least 6 300 spine TKO's I'd part ways with that have never been shot. 31" including the aluminum inserts. 4 fletched with Blazer2's and 2 unfletched. Could fletch them for you if you'd like. I also have some VAP Gamers in the same length and 250 spine with steel inserts that haven't been shot or are in new condition. Shoot me a PM if those will work and you're interested. I'm far north/central valley though.

Lots of scouting, long drives, and it all came together opening morning. We found several groups of sheep and 7 rams. My buddy got it done with 1 shot at 392yds. When I glassed him up I knew we was a shooter. He is a 9yo ram.

“They are coming herebecause they want to work, n ot because they want a free handout.“ Seems to me that there’s been at least two articles in the last week about these immigrants being already involved in organized retail theft operations. Better define “ work”…..

Anyone chasing them? Ran into a ton yesterday javelina scouting, should have limited today but my shooting was miserable. A lot more action than the early season and better weather too.

The ohv permit is also another way people can access state lands. You can’t do anything else on state lands other than drive the roads with an ohv permit but it is allowed

You’re unhinged if serious to the bolded, you need some new friends or better hiring tactics. I assure you there’s plenty of hardworking white guys on this forum.
