We decided to give my dog a little bit of a gummy on 4th of July a couple years ago and he ended up crapping on my bed during the night. Apparently he was too high to get up and go outside. Lesson learned.

Almost new Ruger No.1H Tropical Rifle in 405 Win. 24" barrel, barrel band sling swivel, quarter rib. I am the second owner and it appeared unfired when I acquired it. I fired it six times to verify function and never got around to mounting a scope so haven't shot it since. (It did shoot two 3-shot groups under 2" at 100yds with iron sights - pretty darn good for my old eyes). The only negative is a mark on the left side of the action - the previous owner told me that is was some sort of commemorative rifle and the medallion had been removed. I have no way of verifying that but there is not a mark or rust spot anywhere else on the rifle that would indicate that it had been neglected or anything else to cause rust so it sounded plausible. Obviously it doesn't affect function in any way. I considered getting the action cerakoted but since I intended it as a shooter, I never bothered. The best part is that I have 8 boxes of 300gr Hornady ammo (minus the six rounds I fired, so 154 rounds) available to the buyer - not selling ammo separately unless the buyer doesn't want it (highly unlikely). From what I can determine Ruger produced darn few of these. $1550 - possible trades/partial trades. (6" Anaconda, HK USP Elite 45, Sig P220 45 or 10mm, or ? )

Appreciate that! It was a long, windy week out there but the wife got it done on her first Muley just before last light on Thanksgiving day! But definitely pretty unlucky to get 2 flats in less than 24 hrs with 2 other trucks driving same roads/paths. But seeing her smile as she walked up on her buck made all that bad luck forgettable.

Guys and gals, We have found this bull in 5BS and would like its rightful owner to be able to tag it. It had arrow still in it and appears to have been shot in last few days. If you can tell me arrow you are shooting we will guide you to him to claim.

I glassed up what looked like a bone white tine, and to the left I could see a spine. right after that I move my binos and glassed up a lion at last light. First one I’ve ever seen. went back the next morning for the head and I found about a 105” on the way to it.

These do not. It’s a super heavy barrel with a fixed choke. I believe it’s cylinder

Yup. Cost less than a pizza. There’s a lot of State Trust land where I ride my side by side. It goes from FS back to ST, and back and forth. Much easier to just spend the $15 when I’m hunting or just taking the UTV out for a ride without worrying about it.

The annual permit is only $15 for individual and $20 for family, which includes two adults and children. You can buy and print online. I started doing this last year, just to be sure I'm legal. I heard they were going to start enforcing it. Never worried about it for the last 40 years...never been stopped.

Timing belt was done at 94k. Will need replacement at some point but these early 4.7s are non interference engines from all the research I have done so I wasn’t in a hurry to do it.

Any of the border units will have plenty of access for a 2wd. Border Patrol is all over the place so most of the roads are well used. Plus if you hike a bit you will be even better off.

When I was in high school I had a cat that was into weed and Iron Butterfly. Catnip and dope have some similarities.

Well I am committed now. I ordered the barrel from Shaw today because they are 30% off for black Friday. I also found Hornady brass at Bruno's and some bullets too. Now I need a stock for a savage 110 and a non-magnum bolt face.

Don't know 34a, but 30b, and 35a have plenty of 2wd access. I just drove middlemarch pass in 30b a couple weeks ago and I was surprised just how much access there was for a unit known for little access. Never had to use 4x4. Also, you would also be surprised how versatile a 2wd can be with a locker in the rear and a little added weight. Add a winch in the front and you are almost unstoppable.
