I glassed up what looked like a bone white tine, and to the left I could see a spine. right after that I move my binos and glassed up a lion at last light. First one I’ve ever seen. went back the next morning for the head and I found about a 105” on the way to it.

Found a tripod on the side of a hill near a nasty road in 35a. Would like to find the owner.

My brother bought a turkey chick and raised it for Thanksgiving in April and ended up with a 40 lb bird when he had it butchered. Ended up costing him about $80 for everything. And in the end he said he couldn't tell the difference between it and a butterball.

That’s a great buck and an amazing find. Congratulations! Let us know the score when you measure him. He has a similar frame and tines to a buck a lady killed recently that I saw pics of. Another giant. If you get the chance, pull the trigger on the lion. Lots and lots of deer will thank you.

Same boat as you, never killed one but would like to. I’ve eaten them before and it is really good meat!

Holy sh!t!! Both of those are bad as$! I’m not sure if the dead heads or the lion are the highlight? I’ve only seen a handful of lions but have never found antlers like that.

Transporting it, because of weight and size, would be the problem with a 50" 300CF. I recommend you visit a welding gas supply company and try to move the different sizes tanks before you buy one. Also, tanks have to be inspected/hydro tested and pass at certain time intervals to remain safely in service. The tank needs to be secured such that it will not fall while standing. A good gas cylinder cart would help with some mobility and stability. You should be able to research most on line or through conversing in person at the welding/gas store. Best wishes. I am not a know it all. I've just done many things in life and am getting too old to still do some efficiently. And I still make too many mistakes for my own comfort.

I did shoot right over the top of him but in the end we got what we came for!!!

Far from FDA approved I'm sure but just finished up last years pigs that included about 70lbs of summer sausage, 30lbs of chorizo and 15lbs of jerky. All came out pretty darn good.

Eli, my daughter shoots that exact rifle and has killed muley at 300 yards and Coues at 400 and 200 lights out!

I bought this. I already have 22" sporter barrel versions in 6.5 grendel and 6 ARC. They don't shoot real well until you drop them in a Bell & Carlson stock. Night and day difference with groups around 3/4 with factory ammo and 1/2" with reloads or better. You can clip a coil off the trigger spring or replace with a Timney which also makes a big difference. Some folks say they shoot 1/2" as they come from factory but I haven't seen it yet.
