Saw tons of antelope today but this one made the mistake of coming into my decoy at 30 yards! Added story! Was in a valley just north and way of the highway 82/83 intersection. Saw probably 50+lope running in a circle around the valley. They would let me get to about 70 yards and then push the does off. About 10:00 in the morning I moved to one of the few trees to get out of the sun and put up my decoy. I saw this buck and a doe about 200 yards up the hill running towards another hunter at the top of the hill. The doe spooked and ran and this guy turned, saw my decoy and slowly made his way to me. Took about 30 min to cover those 200 yards. He stopped at 60 and started to go the other way so I drew. At that point he started to come back again so I let down. He went down into the wash and popped up behind my decoy at 30 yards. Two steps to the left and I had a solid quartering towards shot. Put it in right in front of the shoulder and came out the opposite hind quarter. Took out lung, liver and femoral. He ran about 20 yards and went down. Was a ton of fun.

Last time I derail this beautiful thread, but I’m guessing BOB! doesn’t realize nobody cares and doesn’t take him seriously. What an amazing life though, teaching the NBA how to play basketball, guiding everyone here to their trophies, befriending the mafia and begging for help on a Goulds hunt. Pretty impressive resume BOB! Get some seatbelts installed on that wagon bro, and buy a helmet.

Price is per action. They are T3 actions. They are the oem rings that come with the rifle. No separate base as dovetail is milled into the action itself.

I got some on accurate shooter forum a week ago. Couple weeks before that a guy sold 1000 of them. That seems to the only site I have seen them. I would keep an eye out over there. Good luck. EDIT: I just saw you posted there as well haha

Drinking again. You better get your guide for your doe hunts before the good ones are gone. And I don’t remember asking for your thoughts

Chef, I assume you are a chef. I've been dry brining my red meat now for 2 years or so from at least 30 minutes to 8 hrs before grilling or cast ironing. I'll never do it another way now. Thoughts on the process?

So after chasing mule deer in Dec/Jan archery my wife decided she wanted to try her luck on a desert mule deer during the general hunt. We’ve chased these deer only during archery and had decided to keep tabs through the years. We finally felt we had a solid plan so off we went. We got to her u it the afternoon before and set up camp then went out to glass. On our way to our glassing spot we came across a groups of 4 bucks hanging out in the area we were goi g to focus on. We got up early Opening morning and my wife and son got ready and headed to the area we had chosen to be at sunrise. I went to the glassing spot. At about 0611 I glasses up a group of 5 bucks, one of which was a definite shooter. Once they had formulated and approach everything just worked out perfect. I was bummed I couldn’t be with her when she shot but having just had hernia surgery a week earlier I was relegated to glass duty. 312 yard offhand shot with her 300WSM and the rest is history. Super proud of her!
