Bought this in February. Sighted it in and it’s been in the safe. Don’t need to sell it but wanted to see if anyone was more interested in it than me. I have a bunch of boxes of ammo for it that I’ll include along with the Steiner 1-5 scope. I have 3 boxes of the nice Buffalo boar ammo that is also included. 2,500 drop to 2K

It’s been 16yrs this last April since I was introduced to CWT. I lived on here day and night before I retired. Met some really great people on here and made friend with so many. CWT stickers on most of my toys and worn out many coueswhitetail t-shirts. There isn’t enough time for me to thank Amanda, the friends I’ve made, all the help that made me a better hunter, and those I’ve never met in person but feel like we’ve been friends for years. Thanks again to all my CWT family members and friends. TJ

Good day Fellow hunters. New here.....with gratitude like few have had. Took what seems to be about a decade to get this tag.....started the quest in my early 40's...now in my 50's (just for this tag). From Idaho (lived here almost my entire life). I am old school......after a decent respectable Coues. Got my 30+" Mule Deer, a decent 6x7 Whitetail (up north Idaho near Canadian border) and a nice respectable 25" Blacktail in central California....but need to close this quest/chapter of my life and trust me I have been waiting. Few understand it.....heck I may even be NUTZ, but this was my crack at hunting our great lower 48 in my life. I got the credit card notice and hardly couldn't believe it. FINALLY!! Yes, I can glass like a fool..... Yes, I can hike miles in steep country... and yes, I can pack (still Bow hunting Elk and get one every single year). I cannot afford the opportunity to blow this hunt as you could imagine. 9 more years and I'll be lucky to hunt at all. I've lived hard like most of you...and that's why you do this. You see, its you vs nature....and I get it...fully. At any rate. I could use some help. Hunts Dec 15-31. Pointers to general spots would be honestly appreciated. Again, not after the biggest buck on the hill.....I'll leave that to the generations that I pray don't videogame their life away...rather feed themselves with satisfaction of hunting and gathering in the hills, friendships built on hunting teamwork, and possibly a great Dad that taught a thing or two.. Lets do this! Blake

A little slow this year but brought a few home. Water temps were low and captain was having tough time finding warm currents. Really big water first day, half the boat was yacking. Almost all blue and yellow fin. Used spin set up this year and had a blast on that.

Non lead ammo requirement will be here in a year or two. Plus whatever else they come up with. Non-metal broadheads. Wood arrows. Can only use sticks and stones found naturally, but then you can't use what's found naturally up there because it will be theft from the monument.........That's the kind of stuff this administration comes up with.

Last week, I figured I didn't get drawn so after a few days I decided to check my credit card. There was a hit for $300. I literally sat there for a few minutes in disbelief....oh...oh....as I frantically search for the regs to check pricing to confirm. Sure enough its a sheep tag. Then all the talk about cc hits being taken away, add that which unit I got. I didn't dwell on it too much(as if I couldn't), started to tell some people that I may have a sheep tag. I just logged on my portal, sure enough. My first choice was 45c, Kofa National Wildlife refuge. I have tag #4 for the December hunt. I have always assumed it would take forever to get drawn, for the first 10 years or so I probably put in for 22 and 24b, until I realized that was never going to happen in my lifetime. So I would listen to various podcasts and randomly put in for units. This year I put in for Kofa due to the tag number, I figured it would help my odds. I had 19 bonus points. But still thought it wouldn't happen till I had 25-30 bonus points. I am at a loss of words, I am very excited but already feel overwhelmed and unprepared. My first thought was to post here to start getting some feedback. I'll go get some maps this week. I did a search on hike az for hikes, there actually doesn't seem to be too many hikes. At least at first searching. So...How should I prepare? I feel like I have a good base of equipment, I have been hunting coues deer for most of my adult life. So I have 15 binos, 10 binos, but no spotting scope. Should I look for one? I have a good hunting backpack. I'll increase my exercising, good benefit of this is I need to lose 20 plus pounds. Very soon i'll need to actually start to head to the unit and see it. I read somewhere where someone said to contact the Bighorn society. I will take all the advice and help I can. I don't want to make anyone hate me....but my wife got drawn for late bull in 3C this year. Our plan is to give it to my 13 year old. That hunt runs from 12-1 to 12-7, then my sheep hunt from 12-8 to 12-31. Hopefully work understands! Added a picture of my boys deer I am getting very excited!

I'm at the local Goodwill searching for props for my new acting gig... And all of a sudden I see a 1/4 scale M1857 12 pounder cannon and caisson being put.out for sale, $7.59 later, I have an artillery piece. I do my research, it's a 50 year old, functional, black powder cannon made in Spain. Although it's called a .70 cal, she fires a .680" ball with a max 85gr charge. Can't wait to touch her.off The balls or mold are kind.of spendy online Ever heard of grape shot?. .177 BBs will work. Come to find out these are available in a 1 1/4" bore, too.

Depending on how these manuals are put together you might only need to skim the headlines. Without knowing much about it, I would be thinking tyvek head to toe, respirators, UV lamps, fans, chlorine spray, etc. Decon at end of shift before jumping in vehicles and going home. I don't believe biohazard handling needed, but might check w landfill. Would also be mindful of possible asbestos depending on year of construction. If something looks suspicious, pretty easy to sample and get to lab with results in a couple days. Hopefully someone on the forum with recent experience in AZ can weigh in.

I would think cheek weld is what is most important and you can get that with high rings. Your 44mm scope will be about 1/2' higher off the barrel then a 56mm scope would be. The only disadvantage is aesthetics if you can live with that. Have you actually tried it with your scope? Good luck with your sell.

Nice opportunity for folks, no doubt. However, whomever measurers your elk (first photo) needs some help. Talk about inflated numbers.
