Nice opportunity for folks, no doubt. However, whomever measurers your elk (first photo) needs some help. Talk about inflated numbers.

I took a Glock Armour course last Oct. The instructor stated that a Glock will work when you want it to, and when they don't, it's usually due to an aftermarket part. I found that true with an Apex trigger that I had in one for a very short time. It double tapped. I took it off, sent it back for a refund and put the factory trigger back in it. Might not be the smoothest or the lightest pull, but it goes bang when I want it to. For my EDC that's what I want.

Mogollon taxidermy runs about 12 months. He has a lot of mounts to work on and a small crew to help but they are amazing!

I’d stay up high and glass down lower than where I’m at. Unless you find a good bowl to glass up in to! If that happens then be prepared to walk to a higher elevation. If you happen to find something while glassing down hill then be aware of the negative elevation change. The thing to really watch out for is ridges. If you see something straight on, it may not be the distance you range. You may have to go up and down ridges to get a shot. Good luck on your hunt.

I was that guy one time. I pulled up to elk camp late Wednesday night and just backed the trailer in and went to bed. I woke up to go scout the next morning and realized I was camped 50yds from another hunter. He was up making coffee so I walked over and told him I was sorry and would move camp when I was done scouting. He just laughed it off and said as long as we weren't too loud it wouldn't bother him at all. Every night he would come over and share the days events. We have been friends ever since.
